Velvet Revolver
My other brother just added insult to injury. So here is the story...When I heard VR was putting out a new album this year it meant I would be able to see them live for the first time. Out of all the bands currently playing they are probably my favorite. When they were touring for their first album my brother won tickets and backstage passes and got to meet Slash and Duff. So it really sucked that he didn't invite me. Then when I found out that Alice in Chains were the opening band I went ape shit b/c they are my favorite band and once I've seen them live I'll be complete. I was not going to let anything stop me from seeing these two together. However there is one thing that can...My oldest brothers wedding. The concert is in Vancouver Sept 7 and he is getting married the next day in Edmonton. Killing my chance of seeing them. The only other Canadian dates are in Toronto and Montreal. There isn't even a show scheduled for Seattle. Here's the insult in injury part...I just got a call from my other brother and he has the password for the presale...DAMN! I'm crossing my fingers that they scedule something for Alberta or Seattle. I really want to see VR for this tour b/c they are still fairly new that they will probably play some old Stone Temple Pilot and GNR songs.
