Sunshine

A team of astronauts are sent to reignite the sun...What will they think of next. And you thought having to restart the earth's core was pushing things. Alas...it wasn't a pile of crap. I've give it 3 G's out of 5. One great thing you'll notice right away is that the film throws you right into the space mission. No having to watch 45 minutes of back story. On a mission such as this how could anyone volunteer without thinking it's a suicide mission. Especially since this is actually the second mission. The first one failed and were never heard from again. Then with a cast that contains no superstars anyone is really game to bite the dust. I was expecting a straight forward Sci-fi flick but the last half turns into a horror film. I really didn't even see this coming but in retrospect I can't see how I missed that. The outcome is predictable but if they didn't go that way it would have made the movie really terrible. If your at least a bit interested in seeing the movie you'll walk away thinking it okay.
