Here is the trailer for the Ethan Hawke directed film based on his first novel. I'd say he's probably at least one of my favorite actors today. Back in 1996 he wrote his very first novel. I never got around to reading it but through the years I have searched repeatedly for a copy of my own. I say of my own b/c my oldest brother did have a copy but I wanted to read my own. Probably when I heard he was making a film about it I gave up my search and thought I'd wait for the film. The book/film is about a young actor from Texas who tries to make it in New York while struggling in his relationship with a beautiful singer/songwriter. The film gets a limited release this August.
