The Invisible4.5 G's out of 5. I really enjoyed this film. However it seems like I'm the only one online who seems to have enjoyed it this much. In many of the Sci-fi circles it is getting a low rating. My friend who I saw it with thought it was good as well so at least I'm not the only one. The key thing to make note of is the trailer has a completely different tone than what the film really is. First they make you think he is someones boyfriend and it's up to his girlfriend to help him solve his murder. This is wrong...he doesn't even have a girlfriend. Then in the trailer he talks with an old man (also a ghost) who explains that he has to solve his own murder. This scene is not even in the film and it's not like he has to solve his own murder anyway...we know who did it and so does he. One thing I loved about his "ghost world" is the way he interacts with it. Instead of walking through walls or stuff like that such as in 'Ghost' he can touch and interact with things but it's in his own little world. Like in the trailer he throws a book at a wall and it knocks down a shelf, but in reality it does nothing. If my explanation doesn't make sense you'll understand it when you see it. The film was also accompanied with an awesome soundtrack. Three songs of note were Snow Patrol's 'You're All I Have' and 'Open Your Eyes' (off their 'Eye's Open' album) and A Perfect Circle's Weak and Powerless (you may remember a version of this song on the Underworld soundtrack). When I was doing a search through Amazon and IMDB I couldn't find a soundtrack, which sucked b/c it would have been something I'd bought. Then I go to the films official site and it turns out there is a soundtrack. The track listing is at the bottom. Also while I'm talking about movie songs I missed talking about one used in Disturbia. In that film they used System of a Down's 'Lonely Day'. They are also using it recent trailers to promote the film. Plus I now have the hots for the female lead Margarita Levieva. You can add her to my list for group orgy Jenn...LOL. In conclusion, I liked it, however you may not. What I'm finding from reading online is that people thought the ending was lame but I liked it.

Here is the music video for Sparta-Taking Back Control. It's the same as the first video they released for the song but clips from the film were spliced in. Good song and a pretty cool video with the clips mixed in. However the clips near the end of the video sort give things away that you may not want to see a head of time so here's your heads up.
