Zodiac4.5 G's out of 5. It's nice having a theatre in the same complex as where I work. I got off at 4:30 and noticed that there was a 4:40 showing, so I decided what the hell. Especially since there is only one night showing b/c of it's length. I love it when the first showing of a film falls in the late afternoon. For one thing it's cheaper (that is when my friend isn't working b/c I'd just get in for free if he's their), plus most people don't go to these showings. I think there was like 8 other people, and when I got out I think I overheard that the 8pm showing was already sold out. Now onto my thoughts about the film. It was a really intriguing and engaging film. As I was watching it I felt like I was right there doing the detective work with them. It's a pretty long film and it felt long for the first half, but then I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next and time just flew by. I thought that the ending might suck considering the case is still unsolved, but it was quite the contrary. Form the evidence presented it seems like they know exactly who the killer is. I would say that it is definitely the definitive film on the Zodiac killer and it's a highly recommended Fincher film.
