Fido

It's great being Canadian. Since this is a Canadian film it came out this weekend. However it's not playing theatrically in the US until June. I was actually surprised that we got it here in town, but maybe b/c the film was shot just outside of town had something to do with that. I give it 3.5 G's out of 5. It was a pleasant little film. If it was in Black & White it would have really seemed like a B movie that came from the 50's. Billy Connolly is almost unrecognizable in the film as Fido. If it wasn't for a few grunts here and there you might not be even able to tell who he was. He certainly doesn't look like himself without any facial hair or his big hair. It did however feel a little light on the laughs but it was indeed an amusing film that made me smile through-out. It's definitely recommended for the Zombie fans out there...you know who you are :)
