See if you can guess all 50 scary movies. I was able to get just over 40 with no help in under an hour. I completed the rest with some help. If you need help just ask or you could find the answers online somewhere.

3.5 G's out of 5. The writer's must have went back and read the Scream 3's rules to a Trilogy:
"If you find yourself dealing with an unexpected back-story, and a preponderance of exposition, then the sequel rules do not apply. Because you are not dealing with a sequel. You are dealing with the concluding chapter of a trilogy. Yes a trilogy. It's a rarity in the horror field, but it does exist, and its a force to be reckoned with, because true trilogies are all about going back to the beginning and discovering something that wasn't true from the get go. "Godfather", "Jedi", all revealed something that we thought was true, that wasn't true. So if it is a trilogy you are dealing with, here are some super trilogy rules.
1. You got a killer whos going to be super human. Stabbing him wont work, shooting him wont work, basically in the third one, you gotta cryogenically freeze his head, decapitate him, or blow him up.
2. Anyone including the main character can die. This means you Sid. I'm sorry; its the final chapter. It can be fucking 'Reservoir Dogs' by the time this thing is through
3. The past will come back to bite you in the ass! Whatever you think you know about the past, forget it. The past is not at rest, any sins you think were committed in the past are about to break out and destroy you.
That last rule coming true more than the first two. Therefore I find this one to be the weakest of the three, but that’s just what I think. I hate it sometimes going back and learning differences on the past. However, it does make for an interesting conclusion and an interesting story in general. As much as I would have loved going up to Saw 8 doing the same thing over and over again, somewhere along the lines it would have blown. Maybe it would have been better if some of the trilogy elements were used in a fourth film instead of here, but hey what do I know.
Once again they leave it open for a sequel, but it would most likely just be a wrap up to things started in this film and probably have little, if any connection to the first two films. It definitely had quite the gore, so I’m very pleased. In moments it even made me cringe a few times. The majority of people will probably want to hide their head in their hands. Personally I would have liked to have seen something different, but that’s just me. So in conclusion it was a fairly good film.

I’ve Been Tagged by Hella
I’ve been meaning to do another survey for a while. The last few that Nicole have put up I’ve been meaning to do, but I never get around to them. Also now that my two older brothers read my blog all the time I don’t feel like being completely truthful anymore.
My Earliest Memory- One of my older brothers throwing me into a basement closet. I'm not sure how old I was but it happened in Kelowna where I was born so I was somewhere between the ages of 2 and 4.
At School I - was a C+ student, sucked at Math and French, King of Drama class, was in the school plays
My First Relationship - Was one of the best times in my life.
My Mom & Dad Always Told Me - At least I remember my Dad saying if someone was harassing me at school to "thump them right in the nose". I never did but I wish I had on at least one or two occasions.
I Wish I Had - Lots of money. Then I could do what I want, when I want. They say money doesn't buy happiness, but Jelleestone says "I'm happiest when I can buy what I want anytime that I want"
Most Humiliating Moment - I can't think of any, but that's b/c I repress them. LOL
Most Happy Moment - ?
At Home I Cook - I'm a pretty picky eater, so I usually prefer cooking for myself. Then I can cook whatever I want to eat and eat whatever I cook.
My Favourite Gadget Is - My 5 disc DVD player with surround sound. It's very shinny.
I'm Very Bad At - Spelling and grammar
When I Was A Kid, I Wanted To Be - an actor, a cartoonist, a superhero.
It's Not Fashionable, But I Love - I don't care what's fashionable or not. I'm not going to have anybody dictate to me what they consider fashionable.
Friends (would) Say I Am - funny, goofy, nice, easy going.
The Song I'd Like Played At My Funeral Is - Nutshell by Alice in Chains.
If I Could Only - Be more outgoing
Hardest Thing I have Ever Done Was - Passing high school French. I passed grade 12 French with 50%.
What I Don't Find Amusing Is – Making fun of people based on their looks.
If I wasn't Me, I'd Like To Be - a 30's movie star.
At Moment I am Watching - I was watching Hellbound: Hellrasier 2
If I Were A Car I Would Be - A 1970 Pontiac GTO black with red racing stripes.
I Often Wonder - If I will actually ever end up with someone.

Yesterday I got to compete in The Thompson Hotel’s Amazing Race. I thought it was going to be some small thing but the hotel went all out. It was a really fun afternoon. There were 5 teams with five players per team. My team came in 3rd. Now if I got to pick my team I’m sure team Hodgson would have came 1st. That would have also been team youth b/c I would have picked the youngest people. I just wished my team beat my younger brother’s team who came in second. I thought the thing was going to be on foot but it involved driving like in the show. Here is where I add I don’t watch the show. My mom does, I only like to point out places I’ve been if the opportunity presents itself.
Our first clue led us to a shooting range. Guns, Guns, Guns. I didn’t even know that this place existed and it was just two doors down from where I’ve been working for the last 7 years. Each person on our team had to shoot 5 balloons. It’s so fun to shoot guns. I think it was last summer I got to shoot a handgun for the first time at West Edmonton Mall and the summer before that I got I try out some rifles. At WestEd I was shooting 9mm rounds. Namely b/c I wanted to try shooting a Berretta. This time I was using a 22-calibre six-shooter. I got 5 for 5 right away. I knew playing Duck Hunt as a kid would pay off someday.
Our next clue led us to a curling rink on the north shore. The last time I went curling I was in grade 9. All we had to do was get 4 rocks in the circle. This was actually fairly challenging. I kept throwing them too hard. That was our team’s problem; we were either throwing them too hard or not hard enough. I think in total it took 15 tries to get all four in.
The next clue led us to the new Booster Juice in town. As I’m reading the task I read out you have to do a shot of wheat grass. Right away I yell out I’m not doing this one. Each player on a team got to be excluded from at least one task. I figure this shit would make me puke. I don’t even like doing shots of alcohol. However if someone else on the team really didn’t want to do it I would have suffered through it. The funny thing is every one on our team downed it before their chasers were ready. So they were all left for a few seconds with this priceless look on their face. One of my team member said it tasted like drinking grass. They also said that the one shot was equal to 5 pounds of green vegetables. Considering I don’t eat any green vegetables on a regular basis maybe it’s something I should be doing.
The next clue led us to a golf course where we had to get a hole in one on a putting green. I was the last person on the team to be able to complete the task. I was surprised that I sucked so much. I did it on my 4th or 5th attempt.
Then our clue led us to Ropes End climbing gym. I’ve never been to the rock-climbing place before and I’ve always wanted to go. All we had to do was scale up the easy wall. I thought I did it quite fast. I need to go their again sometime and try the more difficult ones. I think I could be quite good at rock climbing.
The final clue led us to the Fogg N Suds where we had to solve a word scramble and had dinner. It would be a fun tradition to have The Thompson Hotel Amazing Race every year. It made me wish I had organized a paint ball tournament at the nightclub before I left.

If you head over to Chris Cornell's myspace page you can hear his title track for the new James Bond movie Casino Royale. For those of you who don't know who he is then shame on you. He's the frontman for Audioslave and Soundgarden. The video will premiere Monday.

Sweet, the first trailer for the remake of Day of the Dead. Which means all of Romero's Dead trilogy have been remade. For those interested I hope the link works. It's been having problems all day. Then once the link worked for me it too forever to download the video.
I now also found it on Youtube, hence much faster. The film looks like it's going to suck balls. Although I still hope it will actually turn out to be good. It seems like all they took from the original was it's name. Where is my goddamn underground bunker.
Finally Kamloops are starting to get some good concerts again. It's been awhile since anyone good played here. Announced today is The Tragically Hip playing on Jan 10th. Then we also have Three Days Grace and Theory of a Deadman with Mobile playing on the Nov 23rd. I plan to go to both.

Since it's Halloween soon I thought I'd make a list of some good horror movies (okay, some aren't that great but I enjoy them on some level) for people to watch. The trick with this list is the films are not part of any horror series. All these movie can be seen on their own, by themselves, with no connections to any other film. I could probably make a list of 100 or more films so I'm just limiting it to ones I own. I was tempted to bold all the films that I really liked but I would have bolded most of them.

Yippy. They offered me employment at Future Shop as an Entertainment Associate. I went in for my final interview with the GM today and it went really well. It was my fourth interview with them. I did the online interview, then by phone, then with the head of the department and finally the GM. If I didn't get the job it would have sucked that they wasted my time. I possibly have orientation this Tuesday. Or they may wait till the head of that department comes back, since she is at a conference in Ontario. Part of me wants to wait for her to come back and the other half wants me to get started. At least my parents will get off my back for a little while and I don't have to move out of Kamloops for the winter. That and I can continue to milk living at home. I have it too good here. :)
(I stole this from Nicole)
SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 71 movies, you have no life. I've seen 162 of the 188 listed films below. Therefore according to this I have no life. Fine by be. I like my life thank-you very much. I think it's more along the lines that if you have time to compile a list of random movies and clam that if you've seen more than 71 then you have no life is the one with no life. I may not have seen then all, but that doesn't mean I never will. Ones I would like to see but missed out on are SLC Punk, Along Came Polly, Children of the Corn, Ring 2, LoneStar, A Bronx Tale, Swimming With Sharks, Blood In Blood Out, and Thirteen

4.5 G's out of 5. The movie was freakin brilliant. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is b/c I didn't care for the first half of the film. I don't know why, it's just something I felt at the time. As a whole though you can look back on the first half and have a different appreciation for. I really want to sit through this and The Departed again. I can add this film to my list of favourites this year. It would make a great film to see with someone else and then discuss about the many twists and turns. It's a great thinker film, one that I'm still wrapping my brain around. This is one you have to go and experience for yourself. It would have been really cool if this were actually based on a true story.
All together for the first time in a long while at Thanksgiving.

In the Back it's me and Dylan. In the front its Ryan, Grandma, Grandpa, and Branden.
In the Back Ryan, Me, Branden. In the front, Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Dylan, Dad.
From right to left. Dad, Cary, Ryan, Ali, Dylan, Darko, Me, Branden, Grandpa, Grandma.

4 G’s out of 5. Released this past Tuesday was Project Greenlight’s third film Feast. If you want to watch a fun horror comedy then this is the movie for you. It’s about a bunch of bar patrons who have to fight against a bunch of monsters. I first mentioned that I wanted to see this movie back in the beginning of September. It is produced by Wes Craven, Ben Affleck and Matt “Insert stupid retarded sound here” Damon. Two well knows actors staring in the film are Balthazar Getty and Henry Rollins. Jason Mewes is even in it for a bit playing himself. All the characters have a really funny introduction, but I don’t want to ruin how they do it b/c it will take away from the gag. You can check out the trailer here if you missed out on it the first time. Just ignore the writing in the beginning. It is a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with the film. If you enjoy movies like this, you’ll have a good time here.
While I giving movie advice I like to warm you about I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. This film was fucking awful. It was just as bad as The Fog remake. It’s first strike being that it’s a direct to video sequel. Although that’s not always a bad thing. Just look at Tremors 2 and 3. Those who pretty good I thought. If you release a direct to video continuation to a film I will usually want to see it. The first half of the film is just a complete rip off of the first two. The fisherman just goes around killing and the film makes you keep guessing who is the killer. Here is where I yelled at my computer screen (b/c I just downloaded it). Just when they have eliminated all the suspects the killer turns out to be the ghost of the fisherman from the first two films. WTF? Whoever thought that this was a going to be a good idea should be dragged out into the street and shot.

So the sort of big news in my life is I got a call from Future Shop for an interview to be an Entertainment Associate. The call sort of caught me off guard. It had been a little while since I applied so I sort of gave up on them. When I applied I had to do an online interview. Then when they called I did an over the phone interview and after that they called me for an in person interview. For the phone interview I felt like a bumbling idiot on the phone, but they said I gave good answers. The first question was what do you know about Future Shop? Seemed like an easy question but was actually hard. I know lots but what do they want to hear? I was pretty confident that I remember hearing they were Canada's number 1 retailer for DVD's, music, and games so I went with that answer. They told me in the interview that they were actually really impressed with that answer.
When I went in for the interview the women said I looked familiar and asked whether I shopped here lots. I thought that it was a pretty funny introduction since my answer was "all the time". The interview went really well. It was actually my first every job interview. All the jobs that I have and had were all just given to me. Some based just on my reputation I guess, others from friend and family connections. Three questions were based on answers I had given on the online interview. One answer I said I disobeyed safe procedures in the last year. So they wanted to follow that one up. I thought that it was a funny situation in my case. I had to cut some vines that were covering windows on the second floor, but we were unable to get the heavy crappy ladder to work for us. I eventually said screw it and went up to the roof and without any safety cables I extended myself off the roof so I could get the job done. I felt safe doing it so I had no problems.
It seemed like the interviewer really wanted to hire me. But I first have to have another interview with the GM first, which I have scheduled for this Sat. I hope I get the job. Its means I don't have to move to Vancouver or Edmonton for the winter. The job is only seasonal, but she said at the end of that time she will look over the job I have done and possibly offer me continued employment. So it's all good. I get to see if I would even enjoy a possible career in this field. If I do then I can work my way up the corporate ladder. The other interesting bit was she said they normally hire seasonal help the middle of November, but they are really desperate to have someone right now. So I guess I know Sat if I have a new job.

So my second older brother and his fiancée have finally set a wedding date. Their getting married June 24th in Niagara on the Lake. Yeah, I get to go back and visit Ontario. The last time I was there I was in grade 2 or something. I definitely have to swing by my old house and school in Cambridge. Also a must is visiting Paramount Canada's Wonderland. I have so many awesome memories of that place. Of course back them it was just know as Canada's Wonderland. I was also honoured to be asked by my brother to be one of his groomsmen. "It's time to BOOM-BOOM with the bridesmaid’s". Cary will probably kill me for saying that. LOL.
So I'm sort of just jumping onto the bandwagon here but this show is pretty cool. If you aren’t aware of the show it's a stop motion animation series that parodies a number of pop culture conventions using toys, action figures and dolls. It actually a pretty cool idea. I'll admit though some of it is not funny, but it's still a cool idea. Some of the toys they use my brothers own. It's cool that for the end credits they use a song from the original Dawn of the Dead but it's a bunch of chickens clucking the theme.
Here are some funny clips.

I don’t believe that Friday the 13th is either for good or bad luck, but on my way to work this morning a black cat darts in front of my car. No I didn’t hit, but it was close. I thought that it was pretty weird being the first thing to happen to me on a Friday the 13th, so once I got home I decided to stay in for the rest of the day, just to be safe.

3.5 G's out of 5. I liked it. I wasn't crying with laughter but it was entertaining. I figure it was along the lines of humour with Without a Paddle. Interestingly they both have Dax Shepard. Two of my friends didn't even want to see it b/c Jessica Simpson was in it. I really don't mind her, and if your like my friends don't worry she's really not in it that much. At least that's how it felt. I wanted to see it most for Dane Cook. One of my favourite comedies of last year was Waiting. This was my first introduction to Cook. While he wasn't the star he most definitely stood out. Since then I've only actually seen one of his short comedy segment. If it was a rated R comedy I sure would've liked it even more, but for a PG13 film it wasn't bad. Maybe they'll have an uncut version for the DVD.

Applause. Now that's what a call a fucking show. Lets have the Academy Awards tomorrow. Give every award to this film. This better be Scorsese's goddamn year. Give the man his well-deserved award. Wonderfully acted, and fanfuckingtastic dialogue. This is now officially my favourite film of the year.
Funny enough one guy sitting in front of me and another person as we were walking out said the ending was lame. Damn it man! Were you not paying attention to the fucking film. Just b/c you don't see it coming doesn't mean it's crap. I really wanted to hit the guy. LOL I'm glad I didn't see the original Japanesse film 'Infernal Affairs' before I saw it. It would have killed it for me. Now that I have seen this wonderful film though I want to see the original.
The film also uses three awesome songs throughout the film. One is 'Gimme Shelter' by The Rolling Stones. This I think is my favourite Stone song. I think it may have also been the first song of theirs I ever heard. Even before I knew it was the Stones. The first time I heard it was in the film Adventures in Babysitting. The next one is Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb, which was used in the trailer as well. Then there is Dropkick Murphy's 'I'm Shipping up to Boston'. Once again another song that was also used in the trailer. I absolutely love this song now. It has a great Irish Punk Metal sound.
I wish I had thought of this while watching the film but it would have been hilarious if I yelled out Matt Damon like in Team America.

3 G's out of 5. Yay, Leatherface back on the big screen, which means I had an excuse to wear my Texas Chain Saw t-shirt. That's what I plan on doing all month; whenever I go out I'll be wearing one of my various Horror themed shirts. Okay then, on to my review. For starters it's predictable. You already know going into it what's going to happen to the characters, which I feel took away from the film. So on that plain you can't really be surprise when someone gets the axe, or more appropriately the buzz. The beginning shows how Leatherface was brought into the world but right after the opening credits he's an adult. Personally I would've loved to see a short segment in his early teens. They mention in the remake and this one that he was picked on as a child. I thought it would have been nice to actually see it and possibly what he may have done in retaliation as sort of a prelude to how he deals with it today. Of course I say that, but if it were there it probably would have just felt too out of place.
Upon first glance I was sort of thinking the plot for the family sucked. But then if you think about it, it's actually pretty good. The Hewitt family refuses to leave a town that people forgot, and they do what they have to, to survive and protect themselves. Part of the plot I read mentioned that the group of teens are spooked by a group of bikers and then one of the characters gets one of the bikers to help rescue their friends. This was only a very small part of the film that came and went too fast. What would have made for a fucking fantastic movie is drop the group of teens; that we have seen over and over again in slasher films, and have a group of bikers up against Leatherface and the Hewitt clan. What is one aspect that was cool about Friday the 13th part 3? A biker versus Jason. What made TCM part two cool? A vengeful Dennis Hopper versus Leatherface. Combine those elements and in my opinion you have movie gold. However the relationship between the brothers and the fact that they were going off to Nam was a cool story element.
Possible spoilers in the upcoming sentences so you’re forewarned. Another thing that would have made the film that much better would have been to have more members of the Hewitt family so the biker could take them out. I love seeing the victims get theirs but I love it just as much when a few of the villains get theirs as well. I will say the biker’s death was the bomb. Which brings me the gore. Gore, gore, gore. How sweet it is. Great deaths all around accept one. All that happened for one of the group was a slashing of the throat; at least she had one good scene with a hook involved. Having no one survive is always a cool way to end a horror film but when you already know it’s going to happen it doesn’t have the same impact. I also would have loved for Leatherface to be more vocal. I don’t think he grunted, groaned, or yelled at all.
It may seem that I didn’t enjoy the film from what I’ve said but I did actually enjoy it. Now here is where I make fun of Nicole. I went to see it with her and most of the film she had her hands covering her face, as she was peaking through her fingers. It was quite funny. Next time I see her I’ll probably get hit for mentioning it. Lol.

1. You will have more friends
Peter Parker was a social outcast.
Norman Osborne was the popular kid. Reed Richards was a dorky scientist. Victor Von doom was a rich socialite. Anyone else sensing a pattern here? Everyone wants to get a little piece of the evil. It is like Starburst.
2. You get to laugh maniacallyGood guys don’t get to do this.
No one has ever heard Superman or Batman laughing like a maniac and no one ever will. Trust me, this is something everyone wants to do. It is strangely liberating. While you may pass chances to do this every once in a while during your civilian life, you will never get the quantity of opportunities that come with a career in villainy.
3. All of a sudden, you will have the budget for all kinds of toys
Super bad guys are never broke. Not only are they never broke but they always have more resources than the hero could ever hope for. Apparently the villain racket pays very well. It also seems to be recession-proof. I hear the tax breaks are good too.
4. Hot chicks dig evil guys
You never see an evil villain with a busted ass woman. Sure, they may be dirty, rotten, and out to steal your empire, but you can always kill them if they get out of hand. Studies show that breasts of women who hang out with evil guys are an average of two cups bigger than the nice dudes chicks. Studies don’t ever lie.
5. You will be safe from everyday accidents
Evil villains are never killed in car accidents. It just doesn’t happen. You won’t slip in the shower, get smashed by a falling piano, or die of food poisoning. The only way you can be killed is in an explosion created by the hero by exposing the one flaw in your plan that no one could ever possibly foresee. Even then…
6. You don’t have to worry about anyone killing you
Evil Villains simply can not be killed. People may think you are dead but you will secretly be lounging in an easy chair on your secret desert island hideout planning your next caper. The only way you can be taken out is by another villain eviler than yourself who will subsequently take over your identity and continue upon your path of world domination.
7. You can kill anyone you wantYou won’t go to jail.
For some strange reason, cops never come to bust Evil villains at their homes even when the evidence is overwhelming. You could kill Superman on a live video feed in front of the entire planet and not one cop would try to arrest you. They can’t even arrest you for the stash of plutonium you have in your shed. It is in the charter when you join the union.
8. You get to dress how you want
You never have to wear a suit and tie again. You can even dress in the most outrageous outfits while demanding the world bow to your demands and no one will even make the slightest of snide comment. This could have something to do with the fact that you can kill anyone you want and can’t be killed back. Remember, no one ever made fun of Magnetos helmet…
9. No matter how weak you are, you will be more than a match for any hero facing you
“But zero, Batman would kick my ass in two shakes of a stripper’s ass…” None of that matters. The sheer newness of your evil plot will confuse the hell out of any good guy. As long as you aren’t doing something that has been done to death (ie goblin themed villains) you should have no problem getting your plans off the ground.
I'm now officially retired from the bar business. First thing when I show up I find out that it is only going to be two porters instead of three b/c our third got stuck bartending. I was like what the hell, they actually expect me to work hard on my last night. So I decided to drink while I worked. Go back to the good old days of drinking on the job. I had a drink every hour or so. It was probably a good thing b/c I've learned from the past that I work much faster when I'm a little inebriated. Go figure. The only downside is if someone asks me to do something I may tend to forget, which only happened once tonight. Then at the end of the night the staff presented me with a cake and card, which everyone signed. It was really very touching and it's good to know that I will be missed. It's really sad and very scary that I'm retiring , but I need this little kick in the ass so I can get the start on finding a permanent job for the rest of my life. Tyler Durden in Fight Club put it best "It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything." And if that doesn't work, my boss said I was more that welcome to comeback if I ever wanted to.

I going to look back and I wonder why the hell I quit working at a club. On my third last shift I was going around collecting bottles and glass when a fairly attractive women decided to play a little game with me. She would extend her arm to hand me a bottle then she would pull it back. After the second time she decided to place the bottle between her breasts for me to retrieve. And with a sly smile on my face I rolled up my sleeves and went in to retrieve it. ;) LOL. Too bad she wasn't my type.

With so many awesome shows on TV it's hard to choose what to watch. At least I'm under the impression there is a lot of awesome shows on TV. The three shows I'm into are Prison Break, Lost and Smallville. Then there are the shows that I'm missing that I hear good things about from people's opinions that I respect, such as 24, House, CSI and Grey's Anatomy. I guess the thing with those shows is I had no real interest from the start to watch them, so that's why I never got into them. The three I watch I was really into them even before they aired.
This year there are three new shows inparticular that have peaked my interest: Smith, Heroes, and Six Degrees. So far I've downloaded and seen the premiere's to Smith and Heroes.
Smith was a pretty cool heist show. It seems to be a lot like Heat, so I look forward to this series. It has that feature film look to it which just adds to it's draw. I think another draw to the show is it's awesome cast. Every one is a famous movie star (at least in my opinion). Simon Baker is a big draw b/c he was the hero in Land of the Dead and his character was pretty cool in that. Then you also have Johnny Lee Miller, who was the bomb in Hackers. They also made use of the song Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap which can be found on The Last Kiss soundtrack. It was one of those songs I didn't like on the soundtrack but after hearing it in The Last Kiss (at least I think it was actually used in the film) and on Smith I now love it. Just another one of those examples where is the right song and scene adds this magic.
After seeing the first episode of Lost and Prison Break I was like 'Holy Shit' on the edge of my seat with excitement. After seeing the first Heroes I was very close to that same reaction. Unbeknownst to me however was the thing would end in a to be continued with a big cliff hanger. This show has the possibility to be another really great show that I'll love.
Flyboys
Has anybody else actually heard of this movie. At least I guess it had more promotion than Idiocracy (which had nothing) and it got a wide release. I never saw one ad on TV, not even the trailer in the cinema. I had to see the trailer online. I also never heard any of the entertainment news shows talk about it. If I wasn't in Edmonton the week before it came out I would have been oblivious to the release. I thought it was going to be fairly good. The real life story is pretty cool, it stared James Franco, and Dean Deviln produced it. My first complaint was that it was too long and sometimes boring. It certainly took way to long to kill the villain in the story. I was repeating to myself just kill him damn it. Some of the flyboys, one in particular wasn't even that likeable. I was waiting for that guy to get his but he never did. Then I thought I would be seeing some really cool aerobatics. However that was not the case. Don't get me wrong though, the Ariel combat was still pretty impressive. It had it's good moments and bad. I'm going to reintroduce my new and improved numbered rating. I give this movie 2.5 G's out of 5. At least that's what I thought right after seeing it but maybe I'll give it 3 G's
School for Scoundrels
I liked this film better when it was called Anger Management. When I walked out I thought I'd give it 3 G's out of 5, but now I feel like it's more of a 2.5 or a 2. If they only threw in a few more f-words and made it an 18a film or even an 14a instead of the PG then maybe I would have enjoyed it more. I also saw it by myself in a theatre will four other people and two just happen to sit three seats down from me so maybe I felt like I had to contain some laughter. Which in return may have prevented me for enjoying it a tiny bit more.

to fuck with Pro-Lifers. As I'm driving home from work today I see a whole bunch of people gathered along the main drag of Columbia street. It turns out they were all Pro Lifer's with signs like abortion kills and there are other ways. You're entitled to your opinion (although I think your wrong) and so am I, so as I drive by I roll down my window and yell out Pro Choice. I'm even tempted to make up my own sign and go down there, but I've got better things to do like sit on my ass for the rest of the day.
I think they also need to do some editing of their signs. A few said abortion kills children. Well technically shouldn't it read abortion kills fetuses. Another sign said there is another way. That's right, you could throw yourself down a fight of stairs. Here is my favourite punch in the gut. Lets say a woman gets pregnant through a rape and decides to have the baby. Well what if the kid finds out that he exists b/c his daddy is a rapist. Oh I bet that would do wonders for the kid. The child should also have the right to know that about his father too.
If I ever made a movie here is one scene that I would add. As a guy or women is driving down the street he/she sees a bunch of pro lifers picketing on the sidewalk and then totally calm drives up onto the curb and takes then out and continues on. It would sort of pay homage to the scene in the Blues Brothers when they drive through the crowd of Nazis. But in my film they would actually hit people. I think it would fucking hilarious.
