101 Big Dick Jokes
Some of My Favorites. You can find some more here.
My dick is so big, ships use it to find their way into the harbor.
My dick is so big, it can only be measured in theory
My dick is so big, I can fuck the ocean
My dick is so big, sometimes it jerks me off.
My dick is so big, that i look like its dick in front of it!
My dick is so big, It gets drunk and whips me out
My dick is so big, "Oh Yeah" is its theme song. Chicka Chicka!
My dick is the Internet
My dick is so big, there was once a movie called Godzilla vs. My Dick.
My dick is so big, I entered it in a big-dick contest and it came in first, second, and third.
My dick is the Walrus, koo koo ga joob
My dick is so big, I could wear it as a tie if I wasn't so afraid of getting a hard-on and killing myself.
My dick is so big, that it has its own dick. And even my dick's dick is bigger than your dick.
My dick is so big, movie theaters now serve popcorn in small, medium, large, and My Dick.
My dick is so big, it has an agent. My dick's people will call your people. Let's have lunch with my dick.
My dick is so big, Frodo carried the Ring to it.
My dick is so big, Jimmy Hoffa is still hiding below it.
My dick is so big, it has its own wing at the Louvre.

SEVERANCE
Could this be another awesome film in the style of Shaun of the Dead? Coming out in the UK this August is the British horror comedy Severance. In the film an international arms dealer rewards his six-member sales division of corporate execs with a weekend team-building retreat in the mountains of Eastern Europe, where they encounter a renegade war-crazed soldier seeking revenge. Check out the trailer here.

V for Vendetta
I wish I was in the States this Tuesday. Available only at the American Best Buys is a limited edition DVD set which will include the 2 disc copy of V, four poster postcards and a collectible V mask. The Canadian Best buy will have a 64 page exclusive version of the original graphic novel. All Future Shop gets is some stupid steelbook DVD case. Maybe Walmart will get a bonus disc.

One last thing to add. I'm starting to get sick off myself on blog so I'll probably wont be updating it as much as I have been. Of course I say that now and then don't change at all.

Miami ViceI'm not sure if my review is going to be helpful to anybody b/c I'm not sure whether I liked it or not. I'm sorta on the fence as to whether it was extremely good or horrible. I'm going to have to let it sit for a bit. It's one of those films I need to give a second look. So for now I'll go with saying that it is about average. If you plan on seeing it make sure to pay close attention to whats going on b/c it can be hard to follow. I was expecting a lot more from the film. I was hoping for something fun to watch along the lines of SWAT but it was lacking in that department. It did have some great scenes and some of the things you would expect to see from Mann. It was a fairly stylish and felt close to his other films Collateral and Heat. I'm not sure whether I liked Heat the first time I saw it but now I just adore that film.
Michael Mann must really love Audioslave. He used one of their songs in Collateral and this time around his used 3 of their songs. All the songs I've never heard before so they are likely new stuff that will be released on their next album coming out in September. It would have been nice to include one on the soundtrack, then maybe I would have bought it.
One of the trailers was for The Departed which stars an all star cast with such names as Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Jack Nicholson. Looks pretty freaking awesome. You can see the trailer here.
Colin Farrell
Before I go see Miami Vice this afternoon, I thought I would do a post on some of his past film. The first film I ever saw him in was American Outlaws where he played Jesse James. I think that it was a great film and it always makes for a very fun watch. He had great charisma on screen. I then saw the film he made before this one, Tigerland. Probably the best film he has done so far in his career. Now that he has become a big star more people have heard about it, but if you haven't I consider it a must see. Then he was in a string of really good films. After liking him in so many films he became one of my favorite actors in recent times.
Here is a little trivia that I'd like to mention. Most people promote the fact that Daredevil is the first film that his uses his Irish accent but this is not true. Before he made Tigerland he was in a heist film called Ordinary Decent Criminal with Kevin Spacey so this was in fact the first film his real accent is used. Unless he used his accent in his very first film The War Zone but I've never seen it so I'm not sure but it was an American film. The film wasn't released in the States until in came in DVD in 2003. Of course by then his career had started to take off thus they promoted the film as if he is a main character. Don't let the box fool you. He's not in the film a lot but it's also not like he plays some minute role in the background. This is a another very good film if you haven't seen it. It may be a bit of a hard find b/c I think Blockbusters were the only rental places that ever carried them. I remember that I had to buy my copy out of town. Here is a link to where you can see the trailer.
Another one of his films that you may never have heard of that is also really good is Intermission. This is another one of his films where he uses his real accent. He costars with fellow Irish actor Cillian Murphy. I can't really describe the film in a sentence but it is a love story mixed with elements of crime. Check out the trailer here. He also contributes a song to the films soundtrack. He does a cover of The Clash's I Fought the Law.
Of course his streak of good films couldn't last and it all started to turn with the film A Home at the End of the World. It is a love triangle story and he plays a bi-sexual. The film originally had a full front nudity scene of him but they cut it out for the release. As far as I know the scene is part of the deleted scenes on the DVD for the ladies that are interested but I'm not positive. Then came the boring film Alexander. I watched the directors new cut that was suppose to be less boring but it wasn't. I guess I liked it a little bit b/c that still didn't stop me from adding it to my collection. Then there was The New World. I was really hoping for something good. I thought the trailers made the film look really entertaining but if your familiar with the director Terrence Malick's film The Thin Red Line then you may know hope long and boring he can make a film. His next film Ask the Dust just came out on DVD but I haven't seen it yet. Doesn't sound all that interesting but you never know. He has only be in 3 films so far that weren't that great so it is possible this one is rare gem like Intermission or Ordinary Decent Criminal.
Now it's time to go see Miami Vice, hopefully it will be another one of his films that I will enjoy.

Cute film
Back in 03 there was this film that aired on Family channel around Valentine's Day. I was just flicking through the channels and stopped on the channel and caught a few minutes of the show and ended up watching the whole thing. It was a very well done romantic comedy. I wish I had taped it. Just a few days ago this movie popped in my head, but I couldn't recall what it was called, who was in it, or even what the story was really about. The only thing I had to work with was it was a TV movie made in 03, had a semi recognizable blonde hair actress, I felt like it had some connection with 13 going on 30, and for some reason I thought the title had to deal with love at first sight or something sappy like that. This of course is not that much help. I knew that all I needed was to see this actress and I would be able to figure out the film.
Today I just so happen to luck out and find the film I was thinking of. I was watching bits of Joe's Apartment and Dawson's creek this morning. Each had a blonde actress whom I thought may have been in the film. I first checked Dawson's Creek and the actress Meredith Monroe who played 'Andie' McPhee in the creek was the person I was thinking of. The film is called The One. Nothing to do with love at first sight but the other saying I couldn't think of 'one true love'. The story is about a chef who falls in love with a woman engaged to a hockey player and is asked to cater the wedding. Having a character who was a hockey player was the connection I was thinking of that linked this with 13 going on 30. The main chef is played by Richard Ruccolo who stared with Ryan Reynolds in the tv show 'Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place'. I even thought that this may have been the guy but when I looked at his profile I completely missed this film. If I only caught it, I could have saved a week of agony of trying to think what the hell the film was called. He plays one of those nice guys who deserves to be in a good relationship. I feel that it is one of those films that even cynics could watch and make them believe that true love does exist. Now if only it was on DVD. Hopefully it will air again sometime in the near future. Wow, what a boring life I lead. I had nothing better to do than trying to think of what some film was called and then blog about my struggle.

My Pet Monster
Does anybody else remember this little ditty from the 80's. Here is a refresher. The show revolved around Max who got hold of a Pet Monster doll with magical handcuffs. When the cuffs come off, the monster came to life and talked and stuff. Max likes to keep his new friend secret, and the main plot of the show was keeping the monster from being taken away. A stuffed My Pet Monster was released to coincided with the release. I was one of those luckily kids to get my hands on one. I remember that I bought one when I was with my family down in Florida visiting Disney World, so I would have been in grade one. I remember saving and doing whatever I could do to earn money to get one. The fun part was the orange handcuffs that came with it. They were break away cuffs that you could wear yourself. I still have the thing today and it is still is pretty good condition.
Now for the main reason for bringing this up. Back it the very late 80's I had rented a video cartoon of Madballs (another cartoon from the 80's. Anyone remember those?). A trailer in front of this video was for a live action My Pet Monster movie. Back them I wanted to see it so badly but was never able to find it. Jump ahead to the age of widespread internet use. One of the first things I did when I got the internet was try to look up this film. I came up with nothing, not even IMDB had anything on it. All I could find was stuff about the cartoon and stuffed toy. I've been able to find everything online except any mention of this film. I think I have looked just about ever year for something about it. I was starting to think that maybe I had dreamed seeing the trailer but two of my brothers remember seeing it. I was even tempted to find the Madballs tape (which I remember being red) just to prove to myself one existed. All that has finally changed. Someone has finally posted an article with a full description of the film, stills and even a few video clips. IMDB also has finally has posted it. My search has finally come to an end. Also in my search I came across a cool site called Retro Junk that lists TV shows, Movies, and TV commercials from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. It brings back so many memories. They even list what I thought were rare such as Camp Candy, Tigersharks, and Karate Kat. Kids growing up in the 80's had so many awesome shows to watch. I think I watched just about every cartoon that came out back then.
Also on the site I they mention the TV drama Werewolf. I think it was always my bed time when it was on. I do remember the opening and there always being a pentagram in the guys hand. The show was about a college student who was bitten by his roommate and thus had to find the source of the bloodline and sever it. All this while being chased by a Bounty Hunter. As he crossed country he met up with other wolfs and various situations. I remember the show had really scary effects. They made 29 episodes. I think this makes such a great plot. I'd love to see this remade today for TV or film. There is a really neat unofficial site for the show here, with a bunch of clips.

Battlestar Galactica
Next week here in Kamloops an episode of Battlestar Galactica for the upcoming 3rd season will be shot. I'd love to be an extra in an episode. Not that I'm a fan of the show. I never got into it so I don't know if it's any good or not. I have a somewhat limited knowledge of the series. I'd love to be an extra in anything. I sort of given up a career in acting since I left high school, but it has always been in the back of my mind to do for fun. I was named best actor of my graduating class and was in three plays. It was my favorite class and the only time people saw me as someone else. Another person I graduated with has done a few bit parts in film and TV. He was even in an episode of Smallville. I figure if he could do it I would have no problem. It is defiantly something I want to be involved in before I die. I may try doing for fun a bit later in my life. Maybe all I need to do is become an extra in something to bring back that spark of acting that would drive me to pursue it full time. Hopefully the crew will stay at my hotel just like when Unfinshed Life and Firewall were filmed here.

1-5 Ferry Trip To Denmark
The next place on our trip was Copenhagen. To get there we had to travel by train through Germany, take a ferry from Germany to Denmark and then train to Copenhagen. The neat part was the train we were on boarded the ferry, then you would go hang out on the boat for about 45 minutes, return to the train and continue to Copenhagen. The ferry in pic 5 was like the one we were on. This one was thus traveling from Denmark to Germany. We were crossing the Baltic Sea.
6. View from the Hostel.
This was one of the nicest and biggest hostels we stayed in. I think it was 13 floors and we were on the 12th. A few times I even sprinted up the stairway to get exercise. The place was very close to being like a hotel. I think Copenhagen was one of my favourite places to visit. One great part about Copenhagen was all the beautiful women and they really liked guys from North America. English was also a second language to them especially the younger people. I would use the term cozy little metropolis to describe the place. The roads were also very similar to that of Canada. They even had speed traps. They had one set up behind the hostel that I could see from my room. The first car I saw them get was a Corvette. They also had a classic car show in town, so their was a lot of American cars from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s driving around.

13. ?
I’m not sure what this is anymore, but it’s a good example of how I started to use weird angles to take pics. I think it said something like King or Prince of Denmark so b/c of the whole Hamlet thing I took a picture of it. I also remember that it was close to where I bought a Smirnoff Ice. That’s another cool thing about some places over their, you can buy alcohol at convenience stores and drink them in public at anytime. I realize that after buying it, it wasn’t a twist off like here in Canada. I then tired to find some sharp edge so I could use the bar trick of chopping off the bottle cap. I kept trying to open it on so many things and eventually cut my knuckles up. More on this later.
14-19 Amalienborg
This is Amalia’s Castle. I believe this is where the royal family stays. It has changing of the guards just like at Buckingham Palace hence the guards but dressed in blue.
20. A Fountain
You know what makes this fountain important? Nothing.
21. & 22 The Baltic Sea?
No, its probably some river that I just don’t know the name of.
23. Enjoying My Drink in Public.
About 20 minutes after buying it I remembered I had my pocketknife on me and was finally able to get the cap off. I kept the cap as a reminder of the struggle. Here is an interesting fact: In North America the alcohol content in a Smirnoff is 7%. In Denmark it was 5% and in Germany is was 3%. I was really pissed off about that in Berlin. When I found that out I went straight to my Rum and Cokes. Copenhagen is also where we had some really cool roommates. One night when I returned to the hostel I met my new two female roommates (giggity) and stayed up most of the night talking to them. I had a lot in common with both of them. One of them also had the same problem opening their Smirnoff bottle and they also had tried the sharp edge chop. They finally found that it worked on a street sign.
24. Armoured Vehicle
This was outside the Frihedsmuseet (Museum of Danish Resistance, 1940-45). This was my favourite place to visit here. The horrors of the Nazi occupation of Denmark live on here. On display were relics of torture and concentration camps, the equipment used by the Danish resistance for forbidden wireless communications and the production of illegal propaganda films and a bunch of other neat stuff.
25-29 Museum of Danish Resistance
This place had a bunch of things I wanted to take pics of. Most museums we visited didn’t allow pics but I found out after going through everything that they allowed picture taking so I quickly ran back through the exhibit to snap a few pics, but I didn’t get everything I wanted. In 25 it is a set up of hidden communications in a persons house. In the background of 27 is a bit of a fence from a Concentration camp and in the foreground is a missile from a sub. In 29 is a navel mine.
30. Another Fountain
This one was near the Museum of Danish Resistance.
31- 33 The Little Mermaid.(Den Lille Havfrue)
The statue was erected in 1913 to commemorate Hans Christian Andersen’s creation. He is a big thing that came from Copenhagen. When we went there was a lot of Asian tourists. That day I also decided to pack light and that meant leaving my jacket and sweater at the hostel. The day started out fine then it got cold and started to rain a bit. Luckily it didn’t down pour but if it did I had at least my poncho in my bag.
34 & 35 A Windmill
The one and only windmill like this I saw. I expected to see one when I was in the Netherlands but only saw them on souvenirs
36. A Navel Ship
37. A statue outside a museum

39. Luc Blower Column (Lurbaeserbe)
A column erected in 1914 topped by two Vikings blowing an ancient trumpet called a lur.
40. More Bikes
This was another bike-dominated place. There was so many bikes here they were stacked two high. I noticed that some of the biked had long been abandoned and they had been stripped of parts.
41. The Tallest man
This statute was located just outside the Guinness World Records. They also had one similar inside Ripley’s Believe it or Not!. I’m 5’9.
42 & 43 The Electric Chair.
This was part of The Mystic Exploratorie. What you would do is hold the handles and they would start buzzing really fast and the object was to see how long you could hold on for. We both did it a couple of times and we were both able to hang on for the highest number. A weird thing I noticed during and after was my tattoo felt really weird. Ryan remembered watching something on Mythbusters about black ink used in tattoos that would explain this weirdness I was experiencing.
44. Mall Parking
I wanted to check out this mall and when we got there it was deserted. I felt like I was in Dawn of the Dead. We went during the late afternoon but it had already close for the day. Another thing about Copenhagen is that it was the only place with 7-11’s. I really wanted to get a slurp but it was just too damn cold to have one.
45. My Copenhagen Souvenir
I really wanted something that had Denmark written on it and the coolest thing was a mini flask. Now I can be the drunk Prince of Denmark, watch out Hamlet. Copenhagen is defiantly a place I would go again. Their was so many things we didn’t have time to get to such as Hamlets Castle and the amusement park.

Amsterdam
As promised I have posted some more pictures. You can see the pics by clicking here
Legend for Amsterdam
1. Jesus Juice
The place I stayed in Amsterdam was a Christian Youth Hostel and no you didn't have to lie and say you were a Christian to stay here. I think this may have been one of the few places that didn't have mixed dorms. The funny part was the place was three doors down from the windows in the Red Light district. I was thinking about the theory about Gatorade so I thought it would be funny to have a pic of me drinking it under a Jesus is Lord sign.
2. The Canals of Amsterdam
3. Anne Frank
This is a statue of Anne Frank located just outside of her house. Of all the places I visited, Amsterdam I felt was the worst. The only thing that made it worth going was the Anne Frank house. It was quite moving. Amsterdam got better as you moved further away from the Red light district and the Frank house was a little bit away from all that crap. Did I go to one of the famous Coffee Houses and try pot? No. A lot of the places looked liked dumps. I was temped to try some Hash brownies but I’m really proud right now in life that I have never touched the stuff. I may try it when I have lived my life and I’m on the way out.
4. Exterior of Frank House
One thing I really loved about the Frank house was I got to see a real Academy Award Statue. Shelley Winters won the award for playing Mrs. Petronella Van Daan in the film The Diary of Anne Frank. When she died at the beginning of the year, she gave it to the Anne Frank House.
5. XXX
These were everywhere. They looked like dicks to me and had the XXX on them. They were used to mark where the sidewalk ended and the street began.
6. Dam Bikes
This was the first place we visited that relied a bunch on bike transportation.
7. Another canal
I didn’t take too many pics in Amsterdam. It was the one place I felt like I was going to be robbed so most of the time my camera was locked up in my backpack.
8. My Amsterdam Souvenir
A belt with the XXX symbol and a magnet. The neat thing is the magnet fits perfectly on the metal part of the belt and makes a cool belt buckle.

Hudson HawkA 15th Anniversary DVD was supposed to be released today, but did Kamloops get a copy...NO! Once again another good reason to open my own store in the field of DVD's b/c I would have it. I already have it on DVD but I want this new edition b/c it has a bunch of features I want to see such as deleted scenes. Good news is my youngest brother made a day trip to Kelowna so hopefully he'll find a copy for me.
For those who haven't heard of or seen this film I'm making it this weeks recommendation. It's an action comedy that came out in 1991 and stars Bruce Willis. Bruce's character is a cat burglar who just got released from jail and he is blackmailed into stealing Da Vinci works of art for a world domination plot. It is really funny and a highly quoted movie between my younger brother and I. I used to rent it so many times as a youngster. I remember wanting to get my ear pierced just like his character and wear a hat like his. He also wears a navy blue t-shirt and a suit vest and I have pulled that look off a number of times. Interestingly when I first got into the internet I found out that the film was a huge bomb. It even won the Razzie award for worst picture. Don't let that turn you off though. Its directed by Michael Lehmann who also did Heathers and Airheads. Hawk is more along the lines of fun humor like Airheads than the black comedy Heathers. The humor is a little over the top but its damn good. Another movie that it can kinda be compared to I guess is Last Action Hero. If you enjoyed any of those films then you should really like the Hawk. Also if you like Bruce as a comedic actor this is one of his films that shows it off.
The trailer online at IMDB is crap but if you would like to see a scene here is what I have found. Bruce and Danny steal from a auction house while singing Swinging on a Star.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
This was my Monday night film. It was about average. That's all I can really say about it. It had it's laughs and a fairly predictable story. You get what you would basically expect from the film. I was glad to finally see a new film from Ivan Reitman. He had so many great films early in his career. There was at least one really big laugh in the film that had the audience in an uproar. You could especially hear all the laughs from the guys. It was nice change to finally see Anna Faris in a role that I could tolerate. I've hate her so much in the Scary Movie series and Just Friends.

Land of Confusion
Here is the new music video from Disturbed. It is a cover of the Genesis song. It was a great Genesis song and the metal version is really awesome. The video is all animated and is sort of like the video for Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution (a must see). Both videos were done by Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn) hence the similarities. He also did Korn's Freak on a Leash.

Dead RisingI think I may have to invest in an X-Box 360. I just found out about this new zombie video game Dead Rising. Here is the description of the game I found
Dead Rising™ follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance photojournalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to a small suburban town only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. He escapes to the local shopping mall, thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns out to be anything but.
Take the lead as Frank and engage in a struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies. With a full compliment of stores at your disposal in the mall, you'll need to be creative—utilizing anything you can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob—and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.

Sounds pretty fucking sweet. I'd love to play a game that involes zombies and a mall. I have found two trailer for the film the first one sort of plays like a film trailer and this other one is a bunch of clips from the game. Looks a lot like a GTA game.
I remember hearing about a Geogre A Romero zombie game a while back and in my recent search found some pretty sad new. The Canadian company that was producing the game went brankrupt or had some other type of finacial problem and now the game has been cancelled. They have a trailer online but is pretty dark so you really can't see much. If you want to read more about this game here is where the info is. Hopefully some other company buys the rights to the game and releases it.
In the mean time I think I'll start playing a few levels again from my Land of the Dead PC game.
Lady in the Water
My Sunday night film this week was the M. Night film. Unfortunately I have lost my Sunday night film going compadre. This was normally the time when my friend Ryan had nights off so we could hang out. He now took one of the jobs managing the theatre which means he no longer has those nights off. It brings an end to era. Its a shame really, I think we have normally been going to Sunday night films for the last 5 years. Now I'm stuck seeing films more by myself. Damn you Ryan! LOL.
As for the film, I thought that it was really cool. I would use the terms whimsical and enchanting. I'm not sure if they are the right words to describe the film but that's what I'm going to use. It did start off slow and I was left wondering when it was going to get good, but when it did I was enthralled. It really started to pick up when Giamatti's character starts involving the tenants of the apartment with the story of the lady in the water. The first question my youngest brother asked was is there a surprise ending. The answer is no, b/c you didn't need one the whole movie it self was sort of a surprise being revealed one step at a time.
If you like any of M Nights films then you will enjoy yourself here. It is up there with my favorite M. Night film Unbreakable. If any one hasn't seen that film it would be a must. It is the one film I saw three times in the theatre. I have seen films twice in a theatre before (such as Land of the Dead, Memento, X-men, Dawn remake) but this was the only one I saw three times. Luckily I never had to pay for any of the times I saw it. The ending still gives me chills and I must have seen it at least 10 times. I remember the third time I saw it I brought like 7 friends with me b/c I told them they must see this film. I think only one of them didn't like it, but I never really held here opinion in high regard anyway. See was a friend of a friend and sort of a pain in the ass. I think that was the last time I even saw her. :)

BITCHIN
It has been revealed that Chris Cornell has written and will perform the theme song for the new Bond film 'Casino Royale'. I was just thinking that they should get some rocker to do the theme song this time. Chris Cornell for those who don't know is the lead singer for Soundgarden and now heads up Audioslave. I wonder if his band mates from Audioslave will join him on the song. It would be so cool to have Tom Morello's guitar contributing. I would hope then that the single would be on there new album but I guess that would be highly unlikely since the release of the album and film are a month apart. Who knows though.

Bunch of things to Say
First I went to the first showing of Clerks 2 today. So is it any good? Of course it is. Fans will not be disappointed. In fact I had to subdue some of my laughter. I think there was only 6 or 8 other people in the theatre and I was probably laughing the hardest. Since I saw it by myself (the price I had to pay for seeing the first show in an afternoon) I didn't want people staring at me for laughing although I shouldn't care. Others were laughing but I don't think they found things as funny as I did. Now I have 1 out of the 3 films I need to see this weekend. I still need to see Lady in the Water, and My Super Ex Girlfriend. I will most likely go to one on Sunday then one on Monday. Then I also missed out of You, Me and Dupree last week so I have to fit that in somewhere.
Hey Dylan, they also had a Clerks 2 standee. Did your theatre get one or did it just go straight into your house. LOL.
One of the trailers in front of Clerks was for the film Bon Cop, Bad Cop, which is a Canadian film staring Colin Feore. I had no interest in seeing this film until I saw the trailer, which was pretty funny. It's about a murder taking place on the border between Quebec and Ontario. Then an investigation starts placing two members of the Quebec and Ontario police force together to try and solve the case. Of course the cops are complete opposites. Its a Buddy comedy in the style of Lethal Weapon. I can't wait to see it. Looks as though there is going to be a lot of jokes about the French. You can see the trailer here, but its only the teaser so it's not the one I saw and thus a lot of the funny bits are not here.
After seeing the film I made a stop at the Library. I can't even really remember the last time I was there. I wanted to pick up some Resume writing books (since I want to polish my resume and haven't written one since high school) and noticed that they had a Graphic Novel section. Sweet, I thought. Surprisingly they had two copies of The Walking Dead #1. They also had tThe Watchmen. So I picked that up and I'm looking forward to going through it. Which means that I going to have to put a hold on the other 2 books that I'm in the middle of reading.
If your waiting to see more of my Europe pics I promise to put some up shortly. I've been meaning to start putting them up since the beginning of the month but I've been really lazy. I figure that if I promise on my blog that maybe it will motivate me to start it up again.
I also found out that they are turning Evil Dead into a musical onstage. That would be really fun to see. I would also love to go see Spamalot. I saw a few ads in Europe but I either just missed it or I was gone before it started.

TMNT
Cool! Just click here and you can view the teaser trailer for the new CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film. I wish I could be more excited but for some reason Quicktime has decided to fuck around on my computer so I'm currently unable to see it. :( For those who are interested I hope you enjoy. Now if only it would be true to the original comic.

New Audioslave
Sweet! I just heard the new single 'Original Fire' from Audioslave. Their new album is called REVELATIONS and will be released September 5th. Tom Morello described the record as "Led Zeppelin meets Earth, Wind and Fire. I can't wait. When I saw them last September they said they were working on a lot of new material and it wouldn't be long before a new album was going to be released.

True Calling?
I think I should really own a video store or run a place such as HMV. Over the years I've really only thought about careers that would use my degree in Psych or Soci. Careers that would pay lots of money (at least hopefully) such as a Psychologist. I guess I figure that all the money I would make would allow me to do the things I love the most. Why not just get a job where the things I love the most are around me? I love DVD's and watching films the most, therefore I should manage my own video store or even run an HMV. I may not be making the $70,000 a year or more but I really don't need a lot money and at least I would be happy.
I'm just not sure anymore that a career in psych is right for me. I'd probably do it for a few years then get sick of it. I think I may let this philosophy guide my life-"Find a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life". Therefore I think my life may start heading down the right path soon (About fucking time).
So what bought about this epiphany? Well I was in a video store today and some customer wanted to rent an old film but didn't know the title. From their tiny description "It a really old film where a black car terrorizes a man and you never see the driver of the black car" I was able to come up with the film "Nightmares" which always played on A&E when I was a kid. Great film, I just wish the DVD copy wasn't out of print. And if that wasn't it I could at least come up with a few more they may be thinking of such as Duel or even more recent films such as Highwayman, or Joy Ride. This is not even the first time I've done this. It happens a lot of the time I go to rent films. I tend to be more helpful than the person working. I pride myself on being able to figure out what film a person is talking about from naming a one or two actors, plot lines, or certain scenes. I wonder if being a cocky bastard in a interview would get a me a job? Why do you think you should work here? B/c I'm better than anyone you have working for you.

Celebs at My Hotel
It's so cool when celebs stay at the hotel. Tonight we have the punk band Motion City Soundtrack. Personally I've never heard any of their songs but I have at least heard of the band. I guess that at least counts for something. I was called in to fix a projector problem and noticed there were two tour buses out back. I guess from my years of working at a hotel I can tell the difference between band and tourists buses. I found out they were stopping through on their way to the Vans Warped Tour in Calgary.
Some of the other famous people to stay at our hotel over the years include Jeff Hardy (Wrestler), The Doobie Brothers, Howie Mandel, and The Watchmen. I just wish I was working at the hotel when The Watchmen stayed. I posted a funny story back in March about Howie Mandel staying at the hotel a few years back that you can read here.

IntruderHow come I only now just heard about this film? I was placing an Amazon order and this was one of the films that was recommended based on what I was buying. I wasn't even going to investigate what it was but Lawrence Bender (producer of all of Quentin Tarantino's film) name was attached to the project, which made me curious. Then I'm hit will a shit load of cool. First the film is written by Bender and Scott Spiegel. Spiegel is a long time friend of Sam Raimi with whom he co-wrote Evil Dead 2. Then the film has supporting roles from brothers Sam and Ted Raimi. Bruce Campbell also has a cameo in the film. Then here is a great capper for any horror film, the special effects were done by Greg Nicotero. A legend in the horror effects business and the 'N' in KNB effects. Then I look up what the film is about and it just fucking awesome.
"The ex-boyfriend of a check-out girl at a supermarket returns at closing time to make trouble. They quarrel and the boyfriend is ejected from the store. After they lock the building up to take inventory, the employees start dying off, and the survivors must eventually find a way to escape with their lives."
The film was made back in 89 a few years before Bender's career took off with Quentin. The one possible down side is the film was directed by Scott Spiegel. It was his first movie shot and he hasn't shot many since. The other most notable one was From Dusk till Dawn 2. The one thing I hated with a passion was the way that film was directed. I thought there was a lot of really horrible choices made in where he placed the camera. Hopefully this film doesn't do any of that crap. It's on DVD for real cheap so if I can't find a copy to rent in town I'll likely just buy it. You can see a copy of the trailer here.
Clerks 2
Here is the Red Band Trailer. For those who don't know what that means its a trailer meaning the PREVIEW has been approved for RESTRICTED AUDIENCES by the Motion Picture Association of America, and may only be shown before an R-rated, NC-17-rated, or unrated movie. Essentiallly meaning the trailer is uncut. Woohoo let the curse words fly. My brother has already seen the film and he is an even bigger Smith fan than I am. Hell the bastard has even seen him in person. I was half asleep when I talked with him about it but he says that it is extremely raunchy. I can't wait. Hehe. Also he says that Jay and Silent Bob aren't in it all the much. I guess that means it's a step above Chasing Amy and a few steps down from Strike back.

Beowulf and GrendelI know Jen wants to see this and now you can b/c it was released on DVD today. For those who have no idea what it is it's based on the epic poem Beowulf which is one of the oldest surviving epic poems in English literature. It tells of a thrilling struggle between the hero, Beowulf (played by Gerard Butler), and a bloodthirsty monster called Grendel. I saw it back in March when Kamloops was lucky enough to get a copy. Here is a link to an old post reviewing the film after I saw it. I only found out about the release date a week ago. I can't believe I almost let this slip by considering how much I loved this film. The DVD is only being released in Canada at the moment so none of my DVD sites or schedules from the States mention it. If you want to see a thrilling adventure then pick this one up. Here is a link where you can see the films trailer. The first time I saw the trailer I thought the film looked liked it would suck but now it's not so bad since I've seen the film. So this is a warning to not just necessarily judge the film by this alone.
On a related note when I was at the British Library in London I saw the only know surviving copy of the medieval manuscript for Beowulf. The manuscript dates from the early 11th century, two generations before the Norman Conquest - though the poem itself is probably even older. The poem is untitled in the manuscript, but has been known as Beowulf since the early 19th century.
Another film that is really great that came out today is the Shakespeare inspired comedy She's the Man. I saw a burned copy two weeks ago and reviewed it in a earlier post. I was just going to wait for a previously viewed copy to buy but I figured what the hell, I wouldn't mind seeing it again so soon. If you liked 10 things I Hate about you then give this one a chance.

An Inconvenient Truth"That's it, the World's Over. Global Warming fucked it up for everybody."
This is the documentary on Al Gore's campaign to make the issue of global warming a recognized problem worldwide. Or what I call the best damn political campaign for office. Too bad the film didn't come out before Bush was elected the first time or the second time. I went to see it tonight and thought that it was fairly interesting. Before today the only thing I really knew about the film was that it had a pretty interesting poster. I really had no interest in seeing the film but my friend wanted to see it and as I've said before if someone asks me to see a film I have no interest in I'll still usually go. That and I watched the trailer and thought I could sit through it. I already know the world is completely fucked up, so the film wouldn't really be telling me anything new. It was interesting though to hear the facts on the subject and seeing the charts and graphs comparing informations on climate and other such things from a long time ago compared with today. This is a film that should be mandatory for every American to see. Especially that dumbass in the oval office. The sad part is we know a bunch of ways on how to lower emissions but we just need to implement them on a grand scale. One thing they mention in the film is the Kyoto Protocol . I didn't know too much about it but my friend told me that Harper withdrew Canada b/c it was seen as an unrealistic goal. You Fucker! They really need to make a shirt with Harper's face and the caption "Bush's Bitch". I now wish they were playing "Who Killed the Electric Car?" in town. Here is a trailer for this one. These two combined would then have probably pushed me over the edge on how much I hate certain people. Knowing how fucked up this world is makes me always have second thoughts about having children. I really want a child but do I really want them to have to grow up in this world.

Little Man
I should be ashamed that I wanted to see this. From the first view of the trailer I knew that it was going to be dumb but I thought it may have a few laughs. I had an hour and a half to kill and a free ticket so why not. If it had an 18a rating maybe it would have been really good but no. It was a PG piece of crap. It did have a few laughs, but they should have put in a few 'f' words here and there. Its amazing how much a simple word like 'Fuck' can be so funny. Which makes me thing of the History of the F word that I posted a long time ago. I give it one and a half out of five.

Tell Me Baby
Here is the new video for Red Hot Chili Peppers. This one is the full version. I loved this song from the very first time I heard it. Therefore I know I will probably get sick of it really soon.

Things That Make You Go Hum
Someone I worked with told me this. If Vampires are so afraid of Christianity why don't they move to a Muslim country. Of course I actually think about this one and say Christianity would just try to move it's way there too. I know its dumb, but I just came back from seeing Little Man and feel just that more stupid.

Shakespeare's First FolioOn Thursday an ultra rare copy of Shakespeare's first folio sold at Sotheby's for $5.2 million (US). This folio is widely regarded as one of the most important books in the English language. It is one of 40 complete copies to still exist. None of Shakespeare's own manuscripts of his plays survive. The only texts dating from his lifetime are the 18 plays published in quarto editions between 1594 and his death in 1616. In 1623, seven years after his death two of Shakespeare's friends had 36 of his plays printed in the famous first folio. 18 of which were printed for the very first time. It is believed that without this publication the plays would have been lost. Originally there were 750 copies made and only about a third still survive. Most copies however have pages missing. While in England I just so happened to see two of the surviving copies. One was located in the British Library in London and the other was in Stratford-Apon-Avon at the birthplace of Shakespeare. The picture to the left is a postcard I bought of the famous first page in the folio.

The Prestige
The new Chris Nolan film looks awesome. Check out the trailer here. It's a book adaptation so maybe it will also make for an interesting read. Another Hugh Jackman film I'm looking forward to seeing this year is The Fountain. You can watch the teaser trailer here. Both have really good cast and directors. Nolan has his bitchin film Memento which I'm sure most people have seen by now. Then The Fountain's director Darren Aronofsky has his cool indie film Pi. It's about a paranoid mathematician searching for a key number that will unlock the universal patterns found in nature. If it sounds like something that would interest you, then I recommend it. You can view a short trailer for it here. Its actually been a while since I've seen it myself. I bought it a long time ago, and now have an interest in watching again.

Day of the DeadWhen they the remake of Dawn of the Dead made a bunch of money it was only a matter of time before they remade Day of the Dead. I've know about it for a while but today I heard some casting news. Signing on to the film are Ving Rhames, Mena Suvari, Michael Welch, Christa Campbell, Annalynne McCord, Stark Sands, and Nick Cannon. The film is going to be directed by Steve Miner and is set to come out in 07. Miner has directed 2 Friday the 13ths and 1 Halloween film so I'm sure the film is in good hands. They say it is not going to be a direct sequel to the Dawn remake and will be a stand alone film. I wonder how much of a role Ving is going to play? When I heard they were going to remake Dawn hearing that Ving was cast in the film was the only thing that calmed me down.
Fire!
Today I got to play with a fire extinguisher (Evil grin). I've always wanted to use one. No, my house wasn't burning down or something like that. The hotel offered fire extinguisher training. I know how to use them in theory but I've always wanted to try it. So know I can say that I have :) I also got paid for being their so that's also a plus. I wish I brought my camera and took a picture of it.
I think I must have a little bit of a pyromanic inside me. For starters I own a zippo and I don't smoke. Then when the opportunity to use fire arrives I'm also jumping at. I remember one Halloween I kept putting leaves in my pumpkin just to get the cool affect of smoke billowing out.

Superhero Joke
I love this joke...
So Superman's flying around the city, and he's horny as hell. Lo and behold he looks down and sees Wonder Woman, completely nude, sunning herself up on the roof of the Justice League. I mean she is lying there naked and spread eagle. So Superman starts thinking, "Man... this is too easy. I could go down there, do a little fast pumping and be gone before she even sees me." After all he is faster than a speeding bullet, right? Anyway, he swoops down, takes care of business so quick, you can't even see him. Well... I tell ya. Wonder Woman looks up, surprised as hell and says "What the hell was that." And the Invisible Man replies "I dunno know, but my asshole is killing me."

Another set of movies that I've been getting caught up on are ones that went straight to video, did not pass go and did not collect $200. Usually straight to video suck and thats the point or they would have gone to theatres and made some money. Of course there are some exceptions to the rule. I can't think of them right now but I guess that would make a good post. It is cool having straight to video sometimes b/c them I get to see sequels to films that did go to theatres. Such as...
Hollow Man 2
Wasn't amazed with the first one but it had a cool premise and it was directed by Paul Verhoeven. This time it stars Christian Slater and Peter Facinelli. Probably the only reason I even felt like seeing this was b/c of Slater. When will you star in something good again? You did have Mindhunter but you were hardly in it. The premise with the sequel is a cop (Facinelli) and biologist are on the run from the invisible rogue assassin (Slater). The film is basically what you would expect form a direct to video film. It could have been worse I guess. If you enjoyed the first one you may find this one appealing. If your interesting in how the 2 films are connected they mention the first film in about a sentence then say the project was started up again a few years later, in order to work out the bugs.
Road House 2
Did we really need a sequel? No, but it's still cool to have one. I think the original is probably the favorite film of any bouncer in the world. This one stars Johnathon Schaech, Jake Busey and Will Patton. Personally I thought Scheach was a pretty good choice to star. I thought he was a pretty bad ass vampire in The Forsaken so I thought he could pull it off. The story is that Schaech's character a DEA agent goes back home to investigate the near murder of his uncle and bar owner (Patton). This one is actually fairly connected with the original. Schaech's character is actually the son of Dalton (Patrick Swayze's character from the original) who was murdered. It's not actually bad but then I haven't seen the last eight minutes either. The copy I got was missing it so I have to find one with it intact. Or just buy the probable two pack with the Deluxe edition of the original that comes out next week. If your not a fan of the original you will probably not want to waste your time. It was however better than most direct to video releases.
Edison
Or for the DVD release it is being called Edison Force. Stupid title if you ask me. This was Justin Timberlake's first film and it also stared Morgan Freeman, LL Cool J, and Kevin Spacey. It was suppose to be released in theatres last year but I guess people thought it really sucked so it never did. It was playing in the theatres in Paris and was going to go if I had time, but we went to X3 instead. JT is a reportor trying to shed light on a corrupt policeforce. JT actually wasn't that bad of an actor but he was completely wrong for this picture. Once again it wasn't crap and wasn't great, it falls somewhere in the middle.
In conclusion all three could be skipped and your life will not be empty b/c of it. If you actually are interested in any of them then I'm sure you'll find something you'd like about them.

Cannibal! The Musical
FREAKIN AWESOME!! I just found out that Troma video will be releasing a 2-disc special edition of Cannibal! The Musical. Most people probably have no idea what the hell this is so I'll tell you. It is the first movie that Matt Stone and Trey Parker (creators of South Park) ever did. It was done way before South Park. It is a musical version of the Alfred Packer story. That is the guy who was traveling in a party to Colorado when they got lost and ran out of food and thus resorted to cannibalismm. I had known about the film for a while and by luck found a copy to rent back in 1999. Surprisingly the film was located in the horror section. The film is a musical comedy and just b/c it involved killings doesn't mean it should be located in horror. The first time I saw it was with a large group of friends and we were laughing all night long. It became a highly quoted film between all of us, which made our last year in high school pretty fun. It was our groups little secret joke. The word got around about the film and I'm sure lots more for our graduating class saw it b/c of me. My good friend made it her favorite movie of all time, so she has that to thank me for. The DVD came out back in 2000 and it was a hard find. Of course this was before I bought things online. After some searching I eventually found a copy and it has been a treasured part of my collection.
Here is a copy of the trailer. The interesting thing about the trailer is they shot it before ever making the movie. Then they showed the trailer to studios saying that they needed a little bit more money so they could finish when they actually didn't even have anything done.
Here's all the video files that I could find. If these don't make you laugh then there must be something seriously wrong with me.

"A Kick in the Cunt"
Did that title grab your attention? Hehe. In the film Run Ronnie Run there is this funny musical number with Jack Black doing a parody from Mary Poppins. Here is the clip used in that film and the full two minute version.

Dead Man's Chest
Sparrow is once again his crazy self. I saw the sequel yesterday afternoon and thought that it was fairly good. If you liked the first one them you will also enjoy this one. I would say that it is about equal to it's predecessor. You may even enjoy it a tad bit more. It has a fairly long run time but the time is used wisely with plenty of action. The sword fights were really cool and creative. I can't wait to see it's sequel. It's going to be sweet seeing Keith Richards as Sparrows father. Also this is another film that shows more footage at the end of the credits. So if your interesting in staying to the end it involves the Dog.

Playing Catch Up
For the last couple days I've been trying to get myself caught up on films I didn't have a chance to see in the theatres. 'Evil Grin' Thus I've been downloading them to watch. Here are the ones I've seen so far.
An American Haunting
This is the film that is inspired by the Bell Witch. I was hoping that this was going to be really good, but alas it wasn't. It wasn't terrible but it was far from anything great. I just wish they went in another direction. In the trailer you can see that there are scenes that take place in the past and present. Thus the haunting continue. But the scenes in the now only take place for the first and last 5 minutes of the film. It should have been more of the film. Also instead of just using the Bell Witch as an inspiration for some made up story they should have followed more to the legend of the haunting.
See No Evil
This is the WWE horror film staring Kane. I thought this was going to suck but it actually turned out pretty good. If your interested in watching slasher films then you'll have fun watching this one. I will be picking this one up when it comes out on DVD.
She's the Man
Originally I had no interest in seeing this one. I thought it would end up being some lame teen film. Then I found out it was based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. I'll admit the most I actually know about Twelfth night is that my brother had to read it in an English class. It turns out the film was really good. There was plenty of laughs throughout. I'm one who likes seeing Shakespeares plays being interpreted in modern ways. It's also cool when the modern take also uses the old English. If you liked 'Ten Things I Hate About You' then you'll also really like this one. The film does have some funny embarrassing scenes. I've noticed that if I have control of pausing a film and I'm watching it alone I tend to pause just before or in the middle of an embarrassing scene and give it a few seconds before I start it up again. I guess when a character is going through some embarrassing moments I feel like I'm right there going through it too.

The MatadorHere is another film recommendation that some may be interested in. It's a wickedly funny black comedy staring Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear. Brosnan plays a hitman who is starting to lose his edge and Kinnear plays a businessman. They meet in a Mexican bar and form a friendship. It's one of those films that will make you laugh outloud. Anything that can cause me to burst out laughing makes for an excellent film. Then again I was drinking when I first saw it and when I'm drinking some things may seem funnier than they really are. It just came out on DVD this Tuesday. The film played at film festivals during most of 05. Thus to my good fortune there were DVD screener copies available to download off the internet. So I think I saw it for the first time back in November of last year. I think Kamloops eventually got a copy in February. If you want to watch something new that is funny then give this a try. Here is a link to the Trailer.

I hope no one else is experiencing trouble accessing my blog. Everytime I click my link or enter in the web address the screen just goes white. I have to go the long way in through the blogger dashboard. And that way I can only view each post individually. I hope it's just my computer.

McD's
I've had a super craving for McDonald's over the last two days which made me think of my McD experience in Europe. Right now I'm loving the bacon cheeseburgers which are part of the cheap everyday menu. I just so happened to hit McD's twice today for them. So now for some funny and interesting stories about EurD's
Do you remember when they used to use styrofoam for burger containers? Well it turn's out that in Rome they are still using them.
Straws come in a wrapper. At a McD's in London I just happened to look close at the straw wrapper and noticed that the copyright was 1986. I kept the packaging b/c I thought it was funny. I guess North America has a lot of leftovers from the 80's
The McD's in Ireland had the best uniforms. They were black t-shirts that had saying like "Would you like Fries with that?" and "My boss is a clown". I can't remember the other ones I saw.
The ones in Ireland and Scotland promoted the fact that it was local cows that supplied the beef. This way I was like "hey, I'm eating local food and I'm still eating McD's". The placemat had pictures of cows eating grass. Ryan and I both couldn't help but think of the alien cow abductions.
The Big Mac or Quarter ponder was called the Big Tasty. I forget which but it makes sense for Big Mac.
In Paris they have don't have hashbrowns or as I like to call them breakfast fries. They do however serve fries in the morning. Paris also has pancakes that have bits of bacon in them. Yum, I wish they sold them here. Then again maybe they do. I'm not much of a fast food breakfast eater. It also gives me the idea to make my own bacon pancakes.
Most places charged for ketchup and sauces for the nuggets. You'd think you would get a free sauce to go with your nuggets. They would also ask would you like Mayo or ketchup. Fuck I hate Mayo. I only ever have it when I eat Tuna.
The barbeque sauce in Europe tastes the same as the one in the States. So why does the barbeque sauce in Canada taste different? Personally I prefer the Canadian barbeque sauce. I wish they would market it.
Which brings me to my next point. In a grocery store in Venice I found bottles of McDonald's brand ketchup. In Canada the Ketchup is Heinz.
Also the majority of the buildings were three stories and there weren't a lot like the ones here that have drive-throughs. Some did have drive through but it was for people on foot.
Then there was that Leatherface Ronald McDonald with the chainsaw with the caption "Trashing the Amazon for fast food". I tried to post it one the page but for some reason it wont work. If you haven't seen the pic here is a link to sort of get to it. The pic is #33 in my first set from London.
I was just watching "The Whole Nine Yards" again and I loved when I heard this quote from Bruce Willis. "Every red-blooded American knows that the only condiment that you are ever supposed to put on a hamburger is KETCHUP! Or MAYBE some of that SPECIAL SAUCE you like so much here in Canada; which I think has a little bit of mayonnaise in it too! But I swear to God when they start slapping that mayonnaise on there I could kill somebody."
Talking about McD's now makes me want to see Richard Linklater's new film Fast Food Nation even more. Here is a link to the trailer. I now will also go eat my bacon cheeseburger leftovers

Oh Fuck!
It was another hot day today. I think at one point I read 38. As I'm resting in my room I noticed it started to cloud up a bit. I thought it was going to start raining. I found out that it wasn't clouds but smoke. It turns out there is a fire 6 1/2 km north east of Lac Le Jeune. Which is about 40 minutes from where I live. So far it has burned 125 hectares. Its also windy and I think it is traveling towards Kamloops. Hopefully fire crews get it undercontrol and Aberdeen doesn't turn into another Barriere or Kelowna. I haven't heard a lot about it on the news yet so hopefully its not a worst case scenario. If I end up having to evacuate at least my DVD's are insured. I also have the list online so maybe I should start adding ones I don't have. Hehe. Of course, like anyone I would defend my home and it would take the authorities to physically remove me.

I now found out that it doubled in size in an hour. And while my dad was driving home a bit of ash fell on his car.

Jim Morrison35 years ago today Jim Morrison died in his Paris apartment at the age of 27. His body was found in his bathtub by his wife Pam. The cause of death was heart failure. Many assume his heart attack was alcohol and even drug related.
In August 1970, Jim was brought to trial for an incident in Miami where he exposed himself to his audience and used profanity. He was acquitted of charges of lewd and lascivious behaviour, but found guilty of indecent exposure and profanity, and was sentenced to eight months in prison. But he remained free on bail while the verdict was being appealed. When the last of his appeals was denied and the possibility of jail hanging over him, as well as his fast, stressful lifestyle, Jim decided that he was through being a rock and roll star and in March 1971 he and Pam moved to Paris. He intended to continue his literary ambitions.
News of his death were held back for a week which initiated rumours that he faked his death. There is one unconfirmed report that Morison was seen boarding a plane the weekend of his death. Jim had fantasized about telling the world he was dead, and starting a new life elsewhere. He planned to contact his office by an anagram-name he had devised: Mr. Mojo Risin'. And to this day they still get daily calls from psychopathic fans.
His body is buried at Cimetiere Du Pere Lachaise in Paris. Other residents of this cemetery include Federic Chopin and Oscar Wilde. Yet Jim is the one that everyone flocks to. People are always leaving whiskey, cigarettes, condoms, and always writing sayings on it. They have a guard posted 24 hours a day. I just so happened to stop by this cemetery just so I could get a look at Jim’s grave. To my surprise his grave was tightly packed between other graves they also put up a barricade preventing people from getting to close. Also to my shock the famous bust of Jim adorned to the grave was missing. I’m not sure if it was stolen or removed by the cemetery but it pissed me off. That was one thing I really wanted to see.
I was going to put more pics in this post but I can only get the one to work at the moment. I have like 8 other pics of his grave from differnet angles. You can see them when I get to posting my Paris pictures on my pic page. I'll also show a pic of what his grave used to look like with the bust .
