Flyboys
Has anybody else actually heard of this movie. At least I guess it had more promotion than Idiocracy (which had nothing) and it got a wide release. I never saw one ad on TV, not even the trailer in the cinema. I had to see the trailer online. I also never heard any of the entertainment news shows talk about it. If I wasn't in Edmonton the week before it came out I would have been oblivious to the release. I thought it was going to be fairly good. The real life story is pretty cool, it stared James Franco, and Dean Deviln produced it. My first complaint was that it was too long and sometimes boring. It certainly took way to long to kill the villain in the story. I was repeating to myself just kill him damn it. Some of the flyboys, one in particular wasn't even that likeable. I was waiting for that guy to get his but he never did. Then I thought I would be seeing some really cool aerobatics. However that was not the case. Don't get me wrong though, the Ariel combat was still pretty impressive. It had it's good moments and bad. I'm going to reintroduce my new and improved numbered rating. I give this movie 2.5 G's out of 5. At least that's what I thought right after seeing it but maybe I'll give it 3 G's

School for Scoundrels
I liked this film better when it was called Anger Management. When I walked out I thought I'd give it 3 G's out of 5, but now I feel like it's more of a 2.5 or a 2. If they only threw in a few more f-words and made it an 18a film or even an 14a instead of the PG then maybe I would have enjoyed it more. I also saw it by myself in a theatre will four other people and two just happen to sit three seats down from me so maybe I felt like I had to contain some laughter. Which in return may have prevented me for enjoying it a tiny bit more.
