The Prestige

4.5 G's out of 5. The movie was freakin brilliant. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is b/c I didn't care for the first half of the film. I don't know why, it's just something I felt at the time. As a whole though you can look back on the first half and have a different appreciation for. I really want to sit through this and The Departed again. I can add this film to my list of favourites this year. It would make a great film to see with someone else and then discuss about the many twists and turns. It's a great thinker film, one that I'm still wrapping my brain around. This is one you have to go and experience for yourself. It would have been really cool if this were actually based on a true story.
