Feast

4 G’s out of 5. Released this past Tuesday was Project Greenlight’s third film Feast. If you want to watch a fun horror comedy then this is the movie for you. It’s about a bunch of bar patrons who have to fight against a bunch of monsters. I first mentioned that I wanted to see this movie back in the beginning of September. It is produced by Wes Craven, Ben Affleck and Matt “Insert stupid retarded sound here” Damon. Two well knows actors staring in the film are Balthazar Getty and Henry Rollins. Jason Mewes is even in it for a bit playing himself. All the characters have a really funny introduction, but I don’t want to ruin how they do it b/c it will take away from the gag. You can check out the trailer here if you missed out on it the first time. Just ignore the writing in the beginning. It is a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with the film. If you enjoy movies like this, you’ll have a good time here.
While I giving movie advice I like to warm you about I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. This film was fucking awful. It was just as bad as The Fog remake. It’s first strike being that it’s a direct to video sequel. Although that’s not always a bad thing. Just look at Tremors 2 and 3. Those who pretty good I thought. If you release a direct to video continuation to a film I will usually want to see it. The first half of the film is just a complete rip off of the first two. The fisherman just goes around killing and the film makes you keep guessing who is the killer. Here is where I yelled at my computer screen (b/c I just downloaded it). Just when they have eliminated all the suspects the killer turns out to be the ghost of the fisherman from the first two films. WTF? Whoever thought that this was a going to be a good idea should be dragged out into the street and shot.
