Edmonton

For anyone who cares I made it to Edmonton safe. No Deers landing on the hood of my car this time. I was almost dreading driving down (No, not b/c of the wildlife). B/c Hinton got like 20 inches of snow the day before. I hate driving in the snow. Luckily it didn't snow at all on the drive down and the roads were perfectly clear. I hate driving in snow but I guess that may also be a good thing b/c I'm them more careful when I do.

I also just got back seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers. FUCK YEAH! Dude that was super sweet. I had sweet seats on the floor and perfect view of the stage. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was they didn't play any of my really favorite songs such as Fight like a Brave, Taste the Pain, Suck My Kiss, Breaking the Girl etc. Basically stuff from the beginning. They mostly concentrated on the last three albums and played nothing from when Navarro was a member. They also didn't play my fav song 'Wet Sand' off their new album. But all of that doesn't mean I really enjoyed myself. With such a vast catalogue of killer songs it's hard to please everyone especially when the album they are promoting is a double album. Mars Volta was the opener and they sucked. Its the second time I've seen them as an opener and they still blow. That fact that the songs they were playing were so goddamn long really pissed me off. Time for some sleep, so I can spend tomorrow shopping.

Nicole: That would have been cool. I wonder if the other guys would have been on the flight. I also came across someone famous up their. In one of the smaller malls the cast of The Big Comfy Couch was doing a show. You have a little one so maybe you've seen the show on YTV or Treehouse. The main actress has done a lot of voiceover work including Jubilee on the X-men cartoon and Lydia on the Beetlejuice cartoon. She was also in Follow that Bird one of the films I used to watch as a child. It was pretty neat seeing her in person.

LOL.... I hate that show so much... the character she plays annoys me!!! But remember I do not have cable so Amber rarely gets to see the cartoons and kiddie shows... LOL

And it was just the drummer.... not sure where the rest of the band was!!!

Hope you had a nice trip!!
