Talladega Nights
I saw it a couple days ago and I thought I would warn people not to go. I thought the film sucked, plane and simple. Yes, it has a couple of laughs here and there but that didn’t save it. If you fall into the stupid yank crowd then you will probably get a kick out of the film.
Any movie where Will Ferrell has been the main star has sucked in my opinion. The only exception I guess would be ELF, I thought that was okay. If you share the same opinion then this film you probably won’t like either. He is far superior in a supporting role than a lead. His next starring role will be in the film Stranger than Fiction. This looks like it may be very good, so fingers crossed I may be able to name two movies of his where he stars that I like.

Im sorry that is mean.....
But they had this movie as a special prize on Big Brother and well they never had anything shown on the show about it as they all said negative things about it on the live feeds!!!!! So yeah.... I wont be seeing it....
Although I do like some of Will Ferrell's stuff like Elf and Old School!!! LOVE OLD SCHOOL! LOL

Shit, I did it again. I do actually know how to spell both but when I type I really don't pay too much attention. I also don't look that close when I go over what I wrote. All that matters is I get what I'm saying.
I'm also a little out of it right now so I don't know if you actually know what Yank crowd is or if your making a joke. I'm taking a stab at Americans. Just in case you don't now.

Exactly, slang for stupid Americans. Ha Ha Ha.
The reason why I was a little out of it. Somewhat of a long story so bear with me. Working at the club has not been all that fun as of late. While working at Rivers it wasn't really frowned apon to drink at work. Therefore I would usually have a few while working. It definitely made it more tolerable dealing with drunk idiots when you yourself are on the cusp of being one yourself. I also seemed to work harder. Go figure? The Dog has a policy no drinking or being drunk while at work. To be able to tolerate work just a bit this week I had a couple before work to losen up.
Okay, there is the basic back story. Well half way into the night one of the bartenders breaks a glass into his ice well. So i'm called in to help clear out the well. While doing it I banged my right index finger really hard onto the side of the well. Not helping matters was a piece of glass right where I hit, causing me to gash my knuckle. It was bleeding quite bad and wouldn't stop. While dealing with it I started to feel really light headed and had to sit down for a bit. I've never felt this way before. I don't have a problem with cuts or blood, so I think that it was due to a loss of blood and being a little bit liquored up. After a few minutes and a band aid I was fine to finish out my shift. By that time I lost my buzz from earlier and had my staff drink at the end of the night. So by the time I got on the computer at 3:30 in the morning I had regained my bit of a buzz all while being in a bit of pain from my finger.
Now my knuckle is all swollen and whenever I bend it I reopen the cut. I've already opened it up 4 more times. One of those was when I got home last night.

But that sucks about work!! I always wondered about people being allowed to drink at work!! LOL
I would have thought that working in a bar would be fun... but I guess now seeing some of the other side it would be annoying.... I hate being at a bar when Im sober so no wonder you have to get a few into you to tolerate it!!!
I say QUIT and move up NORTH! LOL Ok Ok.... so Im trying to recruit people to come with me.....
So was it you that broke into the TD trying to get CASH??? LOL
Anyways..... enjoyed the story.... I have had the CRAPPIEST night and so it was nice to see a story!!!

I plan on quiting soon. It's about time I get a real job. I've talked with another Club owner and he says that people usually do my job for about 6 months then get sick of it. I've been doing it for 20 months now. The pay was really good so that made it worth doing for that long. Hell, the money I made just from the club payed for my trip and then some. Back while working at Rivers I made $10 an hour and got tipped out $50 at the end of the night. I still get 10 an hour but tip out sucks. I plan on quiting around the end of September. In my absence supposedly the place fell apart and everyone was so happy when I returned. I bet if I asked for more money to stick around for a bit longer they would actually pay it.

A little too much into yourself eh... LOL Kidding..... and maybe TD is a TERRIBLE disease... you dislike working there... isnt that like a disease!!????
But if quitting makes you happier then DO it... you shouldnt have to be BUZZING to enjoy work.....
I still say open a movie store.. I think you would ROCK at that!!!!

LOL....Cannot stand Farrell, so I haven't watched ANYTHING with him starring in it in years. I didn't think it looked good, but you just made my thought ssolid, so thanks for that! It was nice meeting you...perhaps we can hang out again sometime eh?
