Oh Fuck!

It was another hot day today. I think at one point I read 38. As I'm resting in my room I noticed it started to cloud up a bit. I thought it was going to start raining. I found out that it wasn't clouds but smoke. It turns out there is a fire 6 1/2 km north east of Lac Le Jeune. Which is about 40 minutes from where I live. So far it has burned 125 hectares. Its also windy and I think it is traveling towards Kamloops. Hopefully fire crews get it undercontrol and Aberdeen doesn't turn into another Barriere or Kelowna. I haven't heard a lot about it on the news yet so hopefully its not a worst case scenario. If I end up having to evacuate at least my DVD's are insured. I also have the list online so maybe I should start adding ones I don't have. Hehe. Of course, like anyone I would defend my home and it would take the authorities to physically remove me.

I now found out that it doubled in size in an hour. And while my dad was driving home a bit of ash fell on his car.
