Dead Rising

I think I may have to invest in an X-Box 360. I just found out about this new zombie video game Dead Rising. Here is the description of the game I found

Dead Rising™ follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance photojournalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to a small suburban town only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. He escapes to the local shopping mall, thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns out to be anything but.
Take the lead as Frank and engage in a struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies. With a full compliment of stores at your disposal in the mall, you'll need to be creative—utilizing anything you can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob—and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.

Sounds pretty fucking sweet. I'd love to play a game that involes zombies and a mall. I have found two trailer for the film the first one sort of plays like a film trailer and this other one is a bunch of clips from the game. Looks a lot like a GTA game.

I remember hearing about a Geogre A Romero zombie game a while back and in my recent search found some pretty sad new. The Canadian company that was producing the game went brankrupt or had some other type of finacial problem and now the game has been cancelled. They have a trailer online but is pretty dark so you really can't see much. If you want to read more about this game here is where the info is. Hopefully some other company buys the rights to the game and releases it.

In the mean time I think I'll start playing a few levels again from my Land of the Dead PC game.
