System of a Down

A couple of days ago I got a postcard in the mail letting me know that System of A Down will be playing in Edmonton on June 25th. My first thought was when the hell did I sign up for something that would send me a postcard to let me know when they are playing. It hasn't even been a year since the last time I saw them and in Edmonton none the least. Of course that doesn't really matter. It's on a Sunday and they still have tickets left, so I'm really considering heading out that way. Maybe some mystical force sent this postcard wanting me to go. Maybe it's from the deer I hit on my way out there last year, wanting to finish me off. "Well I have news for you deer, this time I'm not just going to leave your ass in a ditch". I didn't think my trip to Edmonton would come so soon.

Oooh that's awesome! :) I'd love to go see SoaD, but not too big on road trips.

Too bad they'll never come to High Prairie.

Yeah, it's also too bad they will never play Kamloops either. I just wish they played Van so it would only be a 4hr drive instead of the 8. If I only lived 3 hours (I'm just guessing here) from Edmonton I'd so go. But then again, I do love road trip, but only if I'm the one driving. Also this way I could spend a few days in Edmonton with my brother or my best friend.

It will probably be a last minute decision weather I go or not.

Now my bro in Edmonton has givin me a kick ass reason to head up there on the fri before the concert. I can't say what it is over my blog, but it totally rocks. But heading out there two days earlier makes me lose 6 work shifts instead of just two :(. Decisions, Decisions.

Shit, I was just thinking probably none of my friends or brothers could get the time off on such short notice. I've gone to concerts alone before (NIN, Audioslave) but do I really want to go alone again?. Damn, now it's tied 3 pros and 3 cons.

Just do it. One day just wake up drive to Kelowna for the day. Stop in Vernon get a massage at the Student Health Spa. Then just before you hit Kelowna go SeaDooing for an hour. Then spend the rest of the day in Kelowna shopping, playing mini gold, and ten pin bowling. Then drive back at sun down or later.

At least that's my plan for my next trip to Kelowna. I always make at least 3 or 4 trips down their a summer. I'll have to go their sometime in July just to get my 'Dawn' figure.

HA HA HA.... Yeah it would be as simple as that if I had a CAR and NO KID!!! LOL otherwise I am stuck here in Kamloops!!!!

Also I hate trips ALONE... I like group roadtrips..... the more the merrier!!!

Yeah, the car thingy is a problem. Once that is solved you can at least enjoy a mother-daughter outing.

Sometimes I like going alone and other times I like going with people. Both have there ups and downs. By myself at least I can blast my music in the car, sing along to my hearts content, and do whatever the hell I want during the day. With other people along these things mostly get thrown out the window.

HA HA HA!!! Rule of the CAR when we use to go on ROADTRIPS.... Driver gets first choice in MUSIC and its ALWAYS loud and you sing!!! Usually we did it so we didnt have to talk to each other!!! And coming home the music always determined if it was a good trip or not... by how loud it was!!

Mother-Daughter outings.... YOu obviously have no experience with TODDLERS do you... its HELL!!! ACK I hate taking her anywhere!!! HE HE HE!!!

I like that theory: coming home the music always determined if it was a good trip or not by how loud it was.

And yes, I have no experience with Toddlers.
