Recent Trailers and Songs.

Just saw the second trailer for Superman Return. You can see it, plus 5 new TV spots on the official Superman Returns website. All show a plethora of new footage. The song in the second TV spot is American Hi Fi-The Resecue. I found out that it isn't avaliable on any of their albums. It was made specifically for a compilation 'Sound of Superman' featuring up-and-coming power pop-rock bands. All songs being based on the man of steel. I'm not a fan of this group but just b/c the song is used in the trailer I love the song and I haven't even heard all of it yet.

The next trailer I watched was 'The Last Kiss' staring Zach Braff. You can view the teaser trailer at Zach's webpage. And once again I'll save you the trouble of finding the song from the trailer. All the work has already been done for you here. The song is Chocolate by Snow Patrol. Zach says that he has compiled the songs on the soundtrack for this film. He also says that it will be kinda like a sequel to the Garden State soundtrack, b/c they have a similar feel. The film is not written by Braff but Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby) so it should be good. I also look forward to the soundtrack.

That's funny - I was just on the Braff website yesterday looking at that trailer. I'm pretty excited about that - should be good. I even liked Crash even though everyone trashed it b/c of the Oscar's. Meh. What do you do eh?

And I'd never even heard of Snow Patrol until Nicole told me about them.

    Looks good!

Oh yeah - I'm kinda excited about the Superman, but he's not my fave superhero - he's just... kinda... blah.

I also liked Crash, but I wasn't a big fan of Million Dollar Baby.

I never even heard of Snow Patrol either until I read the bands name of your's and Nicole's site.

I'm pretty stoked about 'Returns'. I remember growing up with the originals and loving them so much. Not sure if I have a fav superhero, although Wolverine would be near the top. I think my fav superhero film to date is Daredevil, although most think that was a piece of shit. I can't wait to see what the director of that does with Ghost Rider.
