Love Actually is All Around

The last few days have been full of love. It all started on my very last day in Europe. I was sitting in Gatwick Airport in London watching people as they past by. It made me think of the beginning and end of Love Actually. People passing by were either embracing each other, or holding hands and I could just see the love in their eyes.

Then when I was on the plane they showed 3 movies: Failure to Launch, Casanova, and Pride and prejudice. All love stories. During breaks I would also listen to one of the radio stations, which just so happen to play all love songs from movies, or songs that just so happened to be in romantic movies. It was quite funny b/c after listening to 3 songs I was like they are all from movies. The songs were all on repeat so it played about 40 minutes of songs and they were all from films and romantic films at that.

Then I get back and you just see the love of all the people waiting as we arrive in the airport. It was here that I found out from my Grandparents that my oldest brother got engaged to his girlfriend the day before while they were in Seattle. When I got back into town my parents were really happy to see me, being the loving parents that they are. Then my friend who got married was in town so I got to hang out with him and his wife. I also found out that my friend Jen is ready to give birth any day now. She and Trevor are just absolutely stoked. Hell, I even found someone I like. Of course she probably has no idea but I feel like letting her know but I'll have to wait to see what happens with that.

How could anyone possibly be in a gloomy mood with all this love in the air? Then again I certainly would have had a pretty cynical view on the subject 6 months ago.
