I'm Back

I'm finally home safe and sound after long 5 weeks. A part of me is glad I'm home and the other half wishes I was still there. It doesn't even feel like it has been that long. The first 3 and a half weeks seemed like over two months. Then the last week and a half seemed only like it had been a couple weeks. Now that I'm back it almost feels like it was for a few days. Ryan on the other hand feels like it has been 3 months. I got back into Van Monday night around 9:45. We were suppose to arrive around 8:55 but our plane boarded late. It was suppose to board at 6:55pm (London time) but we didn't load till 7:55pm. The reason for the delay was pretty amusing b/c crew members were stuck in traffic. Then once we were ready to go the guy who drives the tractor to back the plane out couldn't be found so we had to wait till for him. It was some pretty funny excuses.

The very last day we checked out of our hostel at ten and got to the airport at around 11 am and then we just sat around reading until 4 when the gates were open for us to check in. It really didn't seem all that long of a wait since I had at least something to do. It was nice just to sit and relax. I had accidentally ripped a calis of my foot the previous day so walking around really hurt. It was good just to sit and let it heal. Once again I got stuck with a really uncomfortable seat. Luckily I wasn't tired so I was at least able to be entertained by the films they showed. The shitty part was the TV closest to us wasn't working so I had to look off one further down. It was a real strain on the eyes, that I really felt today.

Then I spent part of the day in Van doing some shopping (getting caught up on DVDs). Then drove back home and got in at around 5pm. Then I did some more shopping. Hehe. I figured since my mom was working the late shift I'd surpise her with a visit. The funny thing is there has been a lot of theft in Kamloops in the last few weeks and when I walked in the security cameras were following me around since I fit the description of one of the guys. Early twenties, skinny, brown hair, and a goatee. When I walked in I was sort of looking a bit like a thug with army shorts, bandana, aviators, and a scruffy look. I probably made it worse at one point when I was hiding myself in home entertainment b/c my mom was helping a customer their and I didn't want her to get super excited if see saw me while busy.

Then I have been giving my family bits of stories and passing out some of the gift that I bought them and doing a show and tell of some of the few things that I bought for myself. Well that's a short summary for the last two days. Over this week I'll be going blog crazy, I want to share so much. I was going to just post the pics with no back story just to put them out there faster but that might wreck some of the funny captions that I want to put to some of them. The first thing I'll do tomorrow is start organizing my pics to share. In a perfect world if I work on it all day I could have it all done.
