Berlin

I got into Berlin today. And this part goes out to my family "Who the fuck hung up on me when I called to say I was here." I call and its around 8:30am and I say hello and then someone said hello and then I say hello again and you hang up on me. WTF? You know it is expensive for me to call and check in. Anyway if anyone in my family does read this I made it to Berlin.

So far I got a really good impression from Berlin its another really nice place. Ryan and I spent the afternoon just wandering the streets and going to souvenir shops since most museums were closed by the time we got here. I look forward to checking out some of the places here. I think the one souvenir I'll get here is a piece of the Berlin wall.

Coppenhagen kicked ass, I absolutely loved it there I definantly plan on going back. The place could be described as a cosy little metropolise. I think everyone we came across spoke English, it was a second language to them. Here we also found our first 7-11 stores and first chian video store (Blockbuster). The city also had a number of very good looking people. I was just one more added it the bunch Hehe. Went the Erotic Museum which was really cool. It contained the sex lives of some famous people like Chaplin, James Dean, Clark Gable, Monroe, and Freud. We did go to one big museum but about half way through we started speeding up because were started to see the same stuff most places. SOme fun places we visited were Ripley's Beleive it or not and the Guniess Records museum. They both were really fun to experience. Another really powerful museum we saw was the Museum of Danish Resistence, we got in for free but I would have paid to see it. People also walk really fast there. I also walk fairly fast so I fit right in. It felt like home.

I also meet some really cool people in the hostel. One night we spent about 2hrs talking to one guy from Canada. (We seem to be running into a lot of people from Canada, but most are from the East coast.) The only person we meet from teh west coast was surprisinglz from Vernon. Then last night I was chatting it up with two of my female roomates for like 3hrs, we had some really cool things to talk about.

The one thing I really regret not seeing here was Hamlets Castle but it was a 50 min train ride out of town. We just had too much too see in town. Also if I did go I would have loved to do the 7hr guided tour and I'm not sure it was opperating on the Sunday. But not going gives me an excuse to go back now. I also never got to go the Castle where they shot Monty Python and the Holy Grail outside of Edinburgh. Once again to much to see in town to train outside of town. I plan to come back in the next few years so I will be able to explore these places and other places outside of London like Mancester, and Liverpool.

Talk some more latter.
