Where does he get those wonderful toys?

Just as I'm addicted to buying DVD's my younger brother is addicted to buying movie action figures. And yes they are action figures not dolls, without getting into any semantic arguments. My family has collected movie related toys ever since the original Star Wars. I don't think it was until Mcfarlane Toys release of movie maniacs series one that they were bought as collectibles and not something merely to be played with. Personally I would have loved to have all these toys myself, but I would be broke if I did. Living in Kamloops it can be hard to get some of these figures, thus it is up to my oldest brother or myself going out of town to pick them up. I found that the best place to live with access to these figures is Edmonton. Whenever we can't pick something up in town or Kelowna Dylan can buy them in Edmonton and bring them home when he visits.

While it looks like all these figures are unopened, they actually are. True it brings down the value but it's not like he ever plans to sell them. He is unable to have them and not touch them. Everyone he meticulously opens in a way that he is then able to put back in a way so that it looks like it has never been touched. The 18' inch figures with voice chips I think are the coolest. He owns around 80 different figures. Like myself he is running out of room to store them.

I personally own the 18' inch Crow and I just got a call from my brother today that he found the next installment in Neca's Cult Classic series, which include Flyboy from Dawn of the Dead, which is a must have for myself. He also came across a 10' inch voice chip Donnie Darko bunny that I may want to pick up myself as well. Branden already owns the non talking one so he doesn't really need it.

Oh those are super fun! The only toys that I have are figurines from Lord of the Rings - I stacked them all up on my bookshelf, and after watching the cat knock them over enough times, they're just stuck in this little plastic container until I can figure out what to do with them next.

So, I'm not really a collector but I appreciate cool toys.
