Two Wonderful things

Two great things I love in this world are the brisk morning air and the wonderful smell after a rain shower. Last night was the first time of the year I was able to sleep with my window open. I just love being all snug under my blankets while I feel and smell the cool air that rushes into my room as I sleep and wake up. It is just so refreshing. I tend to enjoy it the most during early spring and late fall. During the summer I tend to just have the AC running.

Then there is the aroma of the air during and after a rain storm. It is both great to enjoy it dry inside with all the windows open and also just sitting outside getting hit by the rain or feeling it as it evaporates. It makes me think how much I appreciate the small things in life.
