It's Absolutely Baffles My Mind
I work with a bunch of people at the bar and some of them I've know for only and month and a half and others I have worked with for over 6 months. What boggles my mind is how many people don't notice my tattoo, then when they do they're like "Oh I didn't know you had a tattoo, when did you get that done?". I always thought it was something that couldn't be missed. It is a colorful flower right on my forearm and I always have my sleeves rolled up just so I can show it off. I had a comment tonight from a girl I have worked with for 6 months and she didn't notice it until tonight. Then the night before that one of the girls I've know for almost two months was like "Oh you have a tattoo". I've had at least 4 other people not notice my tat until six months after knowing them. I guess some people are just less observant of things like this, but it does make me laugh when someone I've know for a while doesn't realize it's there until much later. I guess if it is being missed so easily then I never have to worry about hiding it ever. I always have to hide it when my grandparents are around. My mom really doesn't want them to know about it b/c they wouldn't approve. Hell, my mom hardly approves of it, but thats a whole other story.

I still have people asking me about mine, so that goes to show how unobservant people can be. You should show a pic of it on your blog though? It sounds cool, but I haven't seen it.
I have to take better pictures of mine. I've got the one pic on my msn page, but that was after I had just had it done, and it's not really in focus enough either.
(Which reminds me - I hate it when ppl say mine looks like a prison tattoo- it's really not that bad!)
And of course my parents hate the idea that I have tattoos. The worst part is, now that I have two... I want more... but I just don't know where to put them (very picky about where I put them b/c I want to make sure it will age ok).

I didn't think it looked like a prison tattoo, but now that you mention it...Hehe just kidding. It does look cool even if it's not in focus. Also I think that prison tats look cool. Is this the one that has ties to The Gunslinger? What does the KA stand for?
You mention you have two. I think I may know where your other tattoo is. Remember how I said my memory works in really strange ways and that I thought we may have had a class together. Well if I'm right then you were in my social psych class Fall 03/ WInter 04 and you have a tattoo on your back, below your neck and the image is circular. If I'm right it finally proves I have a freakish memory. I also hope that if I'm right that your not completely weirded out. ( "You are aren't you. Your completely weirded out. You like running for the door" Hehe) There are a few people in all my classes that I've remembered and something about them. Even if I never talked to them. And if I'm wrong then never mind.Hehe
If indeed I'm right them it is also the second time this has happened to me. I met someone in grade 12 and after knowing her for a few months I asked her if she had ever dressed up as a hippy for halloween in grade 8. It turns out we were both in the same grade 8 english class at another school. After knowing her she felt like it was something she would have done. And I only remembered it b/c she and I were the only ones who had dressed up in the class. But she didn't remember me at all.
