I Love My Travel Book

When I decided I was going to go to Europe a while back I picked up this book 'First-Time Europe: Everything you need to know before you go.' What I really love about the book is that it gives you so many great tips and some are even a little underhanded. For instance on a Rail Pass we write down the day we us it. So if I'm traveling on the 1st I'd write a 1, but if I write the one on a bit of an angle I can make it into a 7 and get an extra day from my pass.

It also gives some funny bits of advice. Here one that has always stuck in my mind. It's under the section the risks of bringing a friend, which is maybe why it stuck out. "If you think it would be nice to stumble upon some romance on the road, you better pray you meet twins going in the same direction, b/c your friend isn't going to want to hang around while you fall in love."Hehe Personally I wouldn't mind if my buddy finds a little love over there. Myself on the other hand ... Well....Maybe it's not that far away.
