G's Cure For a Headache

Got a headache from working all day and I really wanted to see Silent Hill tonight so I just used my proven cure for a headache. First, start off with some Advil. Then chill your body to a comfortable cool. What that means is go somewhere it is cold or just strip down to your underwear with nothing covering your body and just sit or lay quiet for a bit. What this will do is make your body start to have chills, which feels good when you have a headache. Don't go somewhere too cold or it will just make the pain worse. When I have a headache I can fell veins in the sides of my temple pumping hard and fast with blood. I figure cooling you body drops your body temperature which in turn would then slow down the blood flow. Not sure if that's what really happens but it sounds logical to me. Try it next time you have a headache, you can even skip the pills probably but I always like to have it as a back up.

You may not want to hear this but I didn't really like Silent Hill. I'd like to think that the reason I didn't like it was b/c I didn't play the games. Thats all I really knew about the film going into it was that it was based on the games.

The plot was sort of confusing and it took forever just to get to the part in the film where they explain stuff. Then when they did parts of it made me go "Huh?!". The ending left me a little baffled, my first thought was WTF?

I would be the wrong person to ask if I thought the film was creepy b/c no movies have that effect on me anymore. I do think the transformation when the darkness comes was really good and it had some other cool visuals.

My buddy who works at the theatre has heard from others that the film is very true to the game. So I'd like to think that if I were a fan of the game I would have gone ape shit over this film. After I got out of the film I heard others saying that the film sucked. I suggest if a person knows nothing about the games then they should skip the film.

Hmm... well I'm mostly looking for something that's just eery and creepy due to the environment and not so much blood and guts. I want to be tense and on the edge of my seat. Guess I'll find out if/when I make it to a theatre! :)

I would say the environment does portray creepy and eery, so if thats whats your looking for thats what you'll get.
